    If only we had previous experience of signing a jet-heeled, box-o-tricks winger from Leverkusen who had only shown his ability in flashes before coming good... This guy isn't a Milot Rashica (whatever happened to him?!). He's a full French international we signed from a regular Champions League team. WHEN we have him and Leon full throttle, the streets better be ready!

    My heart breaks for him. 3 or 4 years ago he had the world at his feet. He looks an absolute shadow of that player. I hope Galatasaray can afford to keep him and that he can get back to scoring goals for them. I'd love for him to be somebody's hero. Sadly, I don't think he's gonna be ours.

    I've always thought he lacked consistency. Not the consistency of scoring every single week - very few in the world are at that level. The consistency of striking the ball, even in the same match. Sometimes a good hit, other times scuffed, dragged or mistimed. The last few weeks he's been hitting the ball incredibly true. Away at Fulham he absolutely cracked one past the keeper. Against Forest he struck one beautifully but just wide. His second today wasn't a pure instep shot, he curled it beyond the keeper with accuracy and pace. We know he tends to have "streaky" form, but I wonder if this is less to do with a streak and more to do with hard work. If it IS the latter, the streaky form will disappear too and he'll be scoring like Harry Kane. And if/when that happens, he'll have to be in that top bracket of strikers with the likes of Haaland, Kane and Salah. Which is **** incredible when you look at his journey compared to theirs. Go on son!

    I'm two episodes into The Brothers Sun, on Netflix. It's fantastic. Action, plot, comedy, absurdity, soundtrack - it's got the lot. On the heels of "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once", it's another absolute winner for Michelle Yeoh.

    I'm going to recuse myself from this topic for the time being. As and when the club or brand formally share something I'll chip in with my £0.02 worth. The only thing I'll add is that both Villa and the brand are going to be taking the relationship and the projected direction of the club very seriously. Champions League teams get Champions League service.

    There's a role for him in the squad but in the grand scheme of things he's a Tier 3 right back. Nothing to be ashamed of and he's an advantage in certain games, but he's not a 10/10 in attack OR defence so that's an opportunity to improve the team.

    His incisive passing is superb. Not only accurate, but executed so quickly too. He's now adding serious work rate to his game, like Bailey, and it's paying off. Seems like if we're under pressure Cash ticks inside, Bailey drops deep and Youri covers Bailey's spot. On form, we're so fluid in and out of possession.

    Real Madrid currently sell 1.7m shirts a year. Fair to assume a decent chunk of previously PSG sales will follow Mbappe to Madrid. He'll do alright out of this deal... I wonder if image rights, at that sort of level, are a handy FFP workaround?
