It probably comes down to the fact there are a couple of ex Barca players there, plus Hughes' history and contacts with Barca. I suspect he can also speak Spanish (Hughes) which may be a factor. The thing in our favour though is that Adama has the same agent as Crespo...so maybe.....just maybe ?

I really, really rate Westwood and think that his contribution has been overlooked, especially when you think about the step up he has made since leaving Crewe. I reckon by Christmas, we will really see him start to shine, when the new boys around him have really settled in and Wilkins' influence and coaching starts to show (although I think it is already).

Agreed. 500k ? Really? FFS! If we were REALLY looking to improve the full back situation, why aren't we looking for another Amavi type deal. I'd much rather us be looking at quality rather than quantity.

Sorry, but there is no way on gods green earth that Kozak can be described as a 'beast'. There is no way he can lead the line. Useful to bring on as a sub and maybe nick a few goals, but no way should he be considered our main threat who will grab 15-20 goals in a season.

It's ONLY good news for us IF we are in the midst of a takeover and the new owners have significant money to spend. While we hope something is going on, we have absolutely no knowledge if anything wil happen or if big money will be spent. No point getting too excited about something that might mean absolutely **** all to us.

Agreed. Remember that feeling in the pit of your stomach after Hull a few weeks ago. We are not out of it yet, but I never want us to have to feel that low again. We need an owner who is to totally committed to the club, Lerner, by his own admission is not that person.

For most of our lives?? Are you 7 years old or something ? You may not be 7, but you are certainly a clearing in the woods. If you don't like the club, the answer is simple. **** off, you won't be missed.

Right up until now, sherwood has done absolutely nothing to annoy, upset, depress or piss anyone off. So, until he does, he should be given the opportunity to do his stuff with 100% support from everyone. If and when things start going wrong, of course there will be enough of us telling him what he needs to do to either put it right or to **** off. Until then, I fully intend to enjoy the fresh start, the new approach and get totally behind the team and manager on Saturday.
