I think he's got a season's grace Skarroki - he'll be 21 next Feb (as per Wikipedia) and I think that's the age to conclude whether or not he'll be able to cut it.

All I want for the club is a sound, competent strategy for the short and long term and people who can implement it. The Dalian Wanda group has massive assets but will still have to get round FFP. That said, they can probably generate of lot of money for the club (from sponsorship and exposure in China) which we could in turn use to make us better.

Yeah the Chinese love the Japanese - I believe they have a yearly summit in Nanjing, where they reminisce about the good times and sing campfire songs.

There is no way in hell we could afford Yarmolenko. He's an awesome player but it's not going to happen. If he ever leaves Kiev, it'll be for big bucks to a top team.

I might be on my own here but I kind of hope we sell Benteke for 30mil and reinvest in the squad - we desperately need about 3 or 4 10mil players, because at the moment we've got hardly any players who are worth that kind of money.

They paid the same amount for Costa as they would have to pay for Benteke. I can't see it myself. Costa was an unknown quantity in the Premier League - Benteke isn't, so I think it's fair enough.

If you were offered the results before we hired him (without knowing the league table) I think almost everyone would have snatched your hand off. It should have been more comfortable than it was, really.

He was unlucky to finish so low given the fact we won a fair few games - could easily have gone down due to the form of other teams.

Gary took his chance at forest well - he's in a good place to kick on but he has it all to prove. Let's hope he works out like delph.

A little disappointed but not surprised really - Everton is probably a better fit for him and it's not like we were pinning all our hopes and dreams on him. Time to move on and find someone else.

The only other option is give up and have a little cry in the corner. I'd rather we didn't wallow in self pity and just tried to move forward with a positive attitude.

Sorry, I don't have a list of former players turned coaches and their playing deal expiration dates, strangely enough. But plenty of players have retired before their deals expired and moved into coaching You can't name one but there are plenty? Come off it. go do your own research if it bothers you that much It's not my research, though. You seem to be playing this off as though you can't be bothered to substantiate your claim, when in reality we both know that you're wrong.
