I would have liked him but you can't be hanging round in this market I'm hoping we've left the offer on the table and then walked away to pursue other targets. The highlights videos aren't exactly lies - they're usually what a player is capable of at his best. No sane person is going to form a strong opinion on a player from one but it gives people an idea of what he can do.

Sherwood'll definitely give him a crack of the whip, I imagine. He's got a great attitude and in his short time playing for us, got amongst the goals. I definitely want to see him celebrating like a loon again after banging his first one back in.

Same. I think along with the fact that he's a good keeper, he's also a very good influence to have in the dressing room. I think he really loves the club and at the moment he must be wondering what the hell is going on.
