  1. And effectively, you're saying the ref was spot on most of the game? LOL.
  2. But you also talk a lot of rubbish. He had KWP on toast a few times, tracked back and won the ball a lot with Taylor down the left - so much so we nullified their attack down our left.
  3. Baring in mind guys - Ref gave us ****-all most of the game. Only Grealish was winning free kicks. AEG was fouled legitimately a number of times and nothing was given to him.
  4. Sorry mate - but all of that is a bunch of bollocks.
  5. This is so on point, that I read it in their accents as well.
  6. Hopefully he won't be the only one performing well this season, otherwise may need a Cairopractor for carrying this team on his back.
  7. Thought he did well. A few sloppy passes every now and then, but this is pre-season. Of course he's going to be a bit off the pace. Still class though.
  8. Danny De Vito in one of the funniest shows of all time, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
  9. The fish puns are back? Anyway, when the hell are we signing TYRONE FINS?
  10. He hopes the kid has a good birthday......his birthday is on Friday....
  11. That was Galahad's fight. Should have won. Warrington got away with that one tonight.
  12. Lol I think some of you guys in here are overestimating how good the bottom half of the Prem actually is. Watched some right shite games in the Prem this season. The fact we have Grealish, McGinn and El-Ghazi along with another class winger we're about to sign in our midfield, with Guilbert, Mings et al behind them means we'll definitely be better then about 6 teams already in the bottom half. We're going to be class. Don't worry about it too much. IMO, we'll finish anywhere from 8th-14th. We'll have some great results and some poor ones, but we're going to enjoy with Dean Smith in charge and with our new set up.
  13. Deserved. Needs to blow off steam just like all of us do. Consider the fact the he was the major catalyst for our resurgence, 10 wins in a row, getting us through the Play Off Semi Finals and into the play off final. He also lost his Nan a few weeks ago.
  14. King Kodj is the best plan B any team at this level can have. We're very lucky. I'd keep him on the bench, bring him on midway through the second half if we need a spark
  15. He was talking about Holgate, he said that was a dive, not Jack's!
  16. LOOOOOOOOOL. Clear penalty. They should be penalised if unsuccessful for wasting FA/EFL's time
  17. I'm not sure I agree with that to be honest lads. Grealish and others play that pass to him all the time. Instead of trying to play it first time to Tuanzebe he should've cut in towards his left and moved it on as usual. But, oh well it's happened. Glad it didn't affect him too much - for the next couple of minutes he avoided getting the ball (understandably so) but came back into it.
  18. He's the first one to back one of our players if it gets heated. Love him!
  19. It wasn't a mistake. You need a great Plan B. If you go chucking all your eggs in one basket then you're effectively getting ready to fail. Playing Whelan and Adomah when the game was going to be tight, then replacing them in two faster players in Hourihane and Green to run at WBA's tired legs makes complete sense. If we had done what you're talking about, we wouldn't have come away with a result.
  20. Erm......disappointed? He beat his marker time and time again today, put about 4 dangerous crosses into their box in the first half alone, hardly ever lost the ball on the wing despite having two men on him at all times......I'm not sure what more he could've done
  21. Wtf? You guys are crazy. Start Hause at left back? Taylor was very good defensively. Fair enough he lost the ball a few times in their half but apart from that he had a decent game. Did we see a peep out of Phillips and Murphy when they came on? No. Exactly.
