  1. Im convinced some people wont be happy with any manager - because they wont be MON.
  2. Depends whats meant by smashed. But outside the usual top 4. Only Man Shitty and Spurs are in a position to take any possible advantage of it this season. L'pool already out of it as already mentioned.
  3. Yea right pain in the ass that is. cant sell players within a certain time frame of joining a club. It's not like it doesnt happen in the real world. Ok, its rare; but it happens!
  4. I usually look to sell half the team in recent seasons. Some because of age and get what resell value i can. Many not good enough for where i went to see my beloved Villa! Selling:- Friedal Guzan Dunne Collins L Young Lichaj Petrov Sidwell Osbourne Salifou Bannan Carew Heskey One or two others i would await to see what ratings they've been given and what system i play.
  5. Have to agree. This is getting very ridiculous. Hope he's worth the wait!
  6. Interesting that you mention a few garbage ones for Moore, but you point to 'A View to a Kill' as your favorite. Which were garbage for you? Roger Moore pointed to that film as the worst Bond film he did and thinks he should have retired earlier. I think it just about passes as ok. My least favorite was probably 'For Your Eyes Only'. I kinda of got off Bond films after Moore retired. I saw Bond as a pensioner and never really brought into the newer films. I'd probably have Connery as my slight favorite. But i certainly enjoyed what Moore brought to the Bond films. And my favorite Bond film? Probably OHMSS which starred neither of them!
  7. Hmm worst signing? Shame there's so many to choose from..
  8. Bob Bradley shut the **** up and keep the **** away!
  9. I'd lose a lot of faith in Randy if we appoint BbloodyB!
  10. General, I'd rather be disemboweled than see 'Bob Bradley' take the reins at Villa Park! Randy's next appointment is going to say a lot about our ambition for our club. I hope he can keep the fans on side. UTV!
  11. Risso, your a man after my own heart! Been following Villa for 20+ years (as a fan and now faraway). And for the resources he's had at hand, O'Neill has been the most unambitious manager we've had for me! Also has our team playing the dourest form of football i've seen, its awful to watch. Yea, the premiership is tough, a closed shop almost at the top. But too many poor signings, poor tactics.. There's no one out there who can do better? I don't believe that either! People talk about him bringing players in for a short term job like Harewood. I remember 99% of Villa Talkers laughing at Harewood before we brought him and reacting in shock when we were in for him. He was shit and proved to be very shit and did nothing more than warm a bench for an awful waste of money. And for those who get offended at 'my' thoughts on their messiahs work thus far...here's a tissue! It's been obvious for some time that he cant take us further. And thus been a no from me for some time.. Too many on here see the Villa squad through claret and blue glasses.
  12. I bet you'll enjoy riding that! Sorry! See what VillaTalk does to you? Run, Girl, Run! Anyway, how much did it cost your to ride it? Damn, i'm infected!
  13. It is a joke. Think the Mirror see these transfer rumours as free and easy advertising in a way. Make up a transfer tumour and their link gets blasted all round the net. Many website owners would pay a good price for that. The mirror just has to pay bullshit!
  14. Man Cty fan right? No surprise there then! Each to their own mate. I Don't just blame City for the current state of affairs. Just find the money in football ridiculous now, and it's just killing the love for the game i had. We're seeing more 150-200k a week wages. Yaya Toure will earn as much in a week as many people will in 10 years! Personally, I just cant justify to myself spending my hard earned money in the game when it comes to paying these 'sporting' mercenaries in a climate where more and more are losing jobs/homes and cutting back. No, your right. It's over the top to call it the death of football. But i think it will be for a few fans the way its heading. Each to their own. We each live different lives and learn different values. How much will City have spent on transfer fees/wages by the time the window shuts?
  15. Perhaps they'll go on and spend more than all the rest of the premier lge this transfer window? Death of football..
  16. This. Just making up the numbers now.. Football in the 21st Century is a load of f$%^
  17. Yea. Thats tired eyes for you..
  18. I daren't ask what he had to say!
