For those who want him sacked, you'd think we'd be an attractive option to any manager with any nous after they see how quickly/harshly Houllier was dealt with? Much work to be done at Villa now for me, and a job that's next to impossible to succeed at, in the current Premier league conditions. A manager knows he wouldn't have time and couldnt really win.

Hello General, I too support Mr.Houllier at this time. I think it's insane people are judging him so soon with what he's had to deal with. Injuries into double figures, no pre-season, no transfer window. Unfortuntely, in my opinion and from my observations, whichever manager you would have appointed, would have been met by negative comments from a few, as he would not have been Mr.O'Neill. It's clear to me that some regard and support Mr.O'Neill greater than AVFC. This season was always going to be one of transition after the ill considered timing of Mr O'Neill's resignation. But i do think the board have made mistakes too, which i hope they learn from after this summers events. I'm not sure If Mr.Houllier is the right man. But the time to make that judgement is nowhere near close. I do think we're a very long way from our stated ambitions (top 4) and I do think you overrate our squad. Many are average players for me, and quite a few are on the wrong side of 30 and its showing. Hope things can improve for us soon on the injury front and points gained!

I've now started a new game on Fm2010. Feels great to get clubs making offers for my players again and not starting every game wondering whose going to get a red card. I'll guess i'll take another look at FM2011 when the next patch arrives and see if it appeals. Dont like dealing with the Agents in this personally. Though i have nothing against it being included, there just trying to add more to the game to make it as realistic as possible. But time is an issue for me and just want to play the games without all these mini auctions. Would be nice if press interviews was an optional extra too..So boring and pretty pointless when you use the same answers all the time.

Things bugging me in this game so far * Impossible to sell players - Have to give most away! * Conversations between you and players make no sense - Dont even bother with this now! * Cards, Cards, Cards! Just picked it up again, after nearly a 2 week break. Never seen so many red cards/bookings. As for selling players, i'd have a better chance of selling a prostitute in a nunnery! So tempted to fire up FM10 again.

Yes, really disappointed with selling players. Into second season now, moved a lot of players on. Most have had to been given away, and not one single player has been sold for more than his market value. Also agree with people complaining about too many cards in this years game. Agents are a pain in the arse, but i have no doubt that thats realistic!

Someone should start a MON forum for them...and put them out of their misery!
