Seems there was a beta bug that allowed people to advance beyond the beta levels. Here's a if you want to see some of the creatures/areas that lie ahead.

No, just the purchase of the game. Though they let people spend real money at the ingame auction house if they're daft enough! (believe you can use ingame money too)

Well, the game if offline at the moment and i was reading the diablo forums. I saw someone post a link giving an idea of preorder sales for the game. Just wow! 615,145 as of April 14th, x $60 = $36 million+ link And that was just over a week ago. Just the USA, and i'm sure they've had orders pouring in with the open beta. They're going to make an absolute fortune.

Just want to say thanks to Briggaman for drawing attention to the open beta. I'd have probably missed it otherwise. Never had so much difficulty getting a game to work. Had so many problems trying to get the installer to work. Many hours of downloading and fiddling with files trying to get to the login screen. But i finally got there. Played so far with Barbarian, Monk and currently Witch Doctor. Monk seriously kicks ass with a few clicks of the button, far too easily really. Might get time to experiment with 1 or 2 other characters before beta through. Really enjoyed the game, cant wait to explore the full game.

I think everyone would still put money on la arse to win. But at least wigan havent just turned up to do a bit of star gazing, unlike mcleish's villa in many games.

Was beginning to wonder if Diablo 3 would get a mention here. Such a huge fan base for the series, but not many villatalkers it seems. Loved Diablo 2. Not had chance to try the beta for Diablo 3. I was going to buy as soon as released, but heard a lot of negatives aside from the positives..that i'm going to wait for the real feedback from players. Hope it is bloody good of course, but heard a lot of disappointment from some Diablo fans. Although, they have all but seen just a tiny fraction of the full game anyway.

How long ago that immortal spiel "I think we can finish 4th..err i mean 5th" was trotted out. I do wonder whether that highly prized letter from Fergie will retain its magic and be kept in its treasured 'safe' position, even if we were to be relegated. Somehow, i expect so... I still think we'll narrowly stay up this season. But there's no doubt this club is in ******* trouble with LeArner making the decisions. We're getting worse and worse and i see no hope for the future whilst he remains the owner. Lerner, for the sake of AVFC. Please try to find an interested buyer.

Crazy call. The Wolves chairman as just invited a whole load of crap coming his way when/if they go down. Would have been much better off sticking with McCarthy until the summer, if they had no real idea who would step in. Still, maybe Terry Connor will surprise everyone.

Thanks maqroll. Yes, i sure chose one of the worst states to live in (and batshit crazy it is! If im not wrong, they just passed a law in this state to ban all talk of contraception in schools!) I just cant believe some of the things that go on and the things that come under discussion. The politcians are little more than crooks out here for me. How can they serve the public/their country best when they openly take cheques for millions of dollars from banks/companys to see to their agendas! They'd be behind bars in many other countries! Many Americans just seem so ignorant of the world they live in, and whats going on (including their own country). I really admire the few Americans who do want to learn and know the world is bigger than there back yard. But, yes, i certainly picked the wrong state for free thinking..

In the UK we have right wing and a loopy right wing politicians too. We have a voting system that doesn't actually represent the people, a pathetic honours system, a monarchy, no separation of church and state. Shall I go on. How **** dare we Brits, sit at our computers taking the piss out of America. :shock: Eh? What? Nurse!!!!! Well, i am a Brit, an ex-pat (a very sad ex-pat!) And can only echo Eames words:- Eh? What?? Living in America, i feel as if i've fallen down the rabbit hole. It's been a real eye opener and has really made me proud to be British.
