    What about Yohan Cabaye on a one year (possibly pay-to-play) contract to offer experience and help some of the young and/or inexperienced players bed into the Premier League? What's going on with him? Things didn't seem to work out in Dubai, but, In my opinion, he's too good to be without a club. Is there an injury and/or attitude problem I'm not aware of? Because he always seemed like a hard working talent whenever I've seen him play. He's 33 now, so doesn't fit the transfer model we're following, and his wage demands may be too high but I think he'd be a valuable member of the squad. I know there's a risk, but I don't think he'd fall into the category some of the players we've just released would fall in to.

    Is this the current Villa Starting XI? With Super Sub Wesley will need to change his kit but as you can see he's facing in the same direction as the badge and looks excited so my theory holds up. Jota also needs to get a kit but leaning on the badge again proves my theory, I feel I don't have to promote this further. We could have a tough time down the right wing if our new right back is a disembodied head.

    If you know my fears about Benrahma, you'll understand my relief to see Wesley turning and looking directly at it. EDIT to give further evidence to my theory - When shown the Brugge badge.... He looks away, even though they illuminate his name too.
