  1. It's unlikely but I think one option could be - Heaton Guilbert---Mings---Engels---Targett Trezeguet----Nakamba---McGinn---Hourihane El Ghazi Wesley With Grealish and Douglas to come on to give us a near the end lift to finish the game stronger than we have been doing. There's risk to doing this (Douglas and obviously Grealish are two of our best players I know, so the 'if fit = play' mantra will most likely apply) but I think it has a strong chance of paying off in my opinion. I'd also like to see one game with El Ghazi in that sort of free role, firstly to see what he'd do with it, but also to give a bit of support to Wesley and not have to worry so much about defensive duties down the flanks. I could see El Ghazi and Hourihane being interchangeable here, but I think, in this set up, El Ghazi would be the more likely one to take a bit of pressure off Wesley but also be a bit more vocal and forceful than Hourihane. Hourihane may also get a bit of space and whip some beauties in with that peachy left. I also think we'll surprise a few people, Wolves included, and win 4-1
  2. I heard they met up in the year 2000, and it was strange they we're all fully grown. They were there for two o'clock by the fountain down the road, but he never knew that she'd get married and he would be living down there on his own, on that damp and lonely Thursday years ago.
  3. @mottaloo I watched a Porn documentary when I was younger where a few of the women who had worked with Ron Jeremy said he had the nicest feeling penis in the industry, that it had a spongy texture and that's why so many enjoyed working with him. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    THE Pint

When I first saw this thread, I thought it was a long overdue appreciation thread for a certain Villatalk member... Ah well, @pintpotvilla, maybe one day. I've been drinking a lot of this recently - Maybe not by the pint, but over time, possibly equalling a certain number of pints. 2 pints
  7. Watched this last night Very creepy, and a bit funny. A lot of people I know saying this is amazing - But doesn't come out here until Feb 7 next year
  8. I like the odd flutter now and again, but I only like to bet on outcomes that seem unlikely or the odds are stacked. Hence, I am very poor.
  9. I'd play Heaton Guilbert---Mings---Engels---Targett Douglas---Nakamba---McGinn Trezeguet---Wesley---El Ghazi I think from the sounds of things, Grealish may start things off on the bench, you never know, if he does, and he comes on in the second half, it could be the lift we need to negate the second half curse we seem to have found ourselves in. They're a very different side to Man City, and we're at home, so in order for us to win I think we'll have to counter act their high press by getting the ball into their final third as much as we can. I know Douglas can be complacent, but I think that's a symptom of him learning and adjusting to the pace of things. I do like the diagonal passes he played against Wolves on Wednesday, and with Targett and Guilbert running on to those rather than Taylor and Elmohamady (who to be fair, did very well on Wednesday) I expect them to be the best way to exploit Liverpool and get some success. The front three will have to be massively switched on, which includes supporting their fullbacks and the midfield because if we are going to win this, it's going to rely on us putting the ball in their net rather than a resolute defensive display (not to say that won't help too ). But, I'm hoping all three relish the challenge and put lots of pressure on Liverpool's box. I think El Ghazi will fancy a few curling shots from just outside the box and hopefully Trezeguet can put some balls in there that Wesley can get on the end of. I'm going for quite a high scoring game. I'm going to say 4-2 Villa win
  10. No matter how many times I've seen this video, I still love how civil and caring it ends up being
  11. If Liverpool do pull out, which is unlikely in my opinion, would we get a bye to the semis or would we have to play Arsenal?
  12. @Designer1 what would be your underrated/hidden gem/s horror film/s to watch this Halloween?
  13. A bartender spots a man sitting at a bar looking disturbed. He asks him what's wrong. "I got drunk last night and slept with My Wife's Sister and Mom" comes the reply. "I know it's not morally right but some men would see that as an achievement. The sordid trio, some call it." The bartender replies. "No, you don't understand. 'My Wife's Sister and Mom' is the name of my dog."
  14. It may have put her off that you booked such a big table for only two of you.
  15. I'd play - Steer Elmohamady---Konsa---Hause----Taylor Douglas---Hourihane---Lansbury El Ghazi---Davis---Trezeguet That's everyone on the bench from Man City starting, I'd keep Trezeguet and Douglas in there because I think they could benefit from a start, especially in a night time derby where there'll be a strong atmosphere. Think Davis, Konsa, Hause and everyone else to be fair, could benefit from that as well, bit of pressure. I will say 2-0 Villa win, with Hause getting the second against his former side

  17. His performance was so good, even some of the Brighton players celebrated with us.
  18. I'd start Heaton Guilbert---Mings---Engels---Targett Douglas---Nakamba---McGinn Trezeguet---Wesley---Grealish We're just going to have to play it tight and keep the ball away from our area. It's going to be a big game for all the players, but especially the midfield I think. Nakamba will need supporting a lot more than against Brighton, and Wesley will need to keep his spirits up. I'll say 2-0 Villa with some straightforward defending
