we need to stop letting our hearts rule our head here. Get established in top 6/4, for a couple of years then visit the building of the new stand. To become established we need revenue and atmosphere. Something that would be totally hampered if we start replacing now.

The way i read it, if we spend 30m on a player in the next 18months then we will be very tight to ffp without going over. Thats not taking into consideration CL money if we qualify, which then would change for the better

With regards the the likes of Dendonker and Chambers, there isn’t really many clubs out there who could buy them with regards FFP. Talk now Forrest could be in trouble with it. What team would want them and also could afford them?

They do but look at City. They have those players but have still struggled without debryun to do this

I still think we need to bring in someone who can break down teams who put 11 players behind the ball. Its where we have struggled this season. A tough nut to crack being able to do that. Plus this type of player costs a fortune. Maybe an older player on loan near the end of his career who we could bring on in these games? Ever Banega type, but he’s earning the oil money these days

I agree we do need a striker but for what money? We signed Duran for 20m odd, a backup striker isn’t going to be anymore. So what do we gain signing another striker foe 20m when we already have one?
