  1. Did nobody learn anything from Grealish. If right offer comes in Ramsey is off. Way you build a stronger team in long run unfortunately. Credit to Purslow, he saw this way before other teams like Newcastle and we were getting best youth from all over UK. Its way FFp is, we have to live with it to such a time we have a strong enough squad we don’t have to sell. We aren’t there yet.
  2. Weren’t we linked with Rowe last summer?
  3. Not true, villa loaned him for the season. Barcelona probably don’t have a call back clause as its a big fee so Milan would have to give Villa money to get him out of contract
  4. Its not a correct comparison though. Gallagher be about 60m compared to 10m
  5. Stay clear of supposedly top English midfielders. They are double the price they should be based on their ability. For every Bellingham, they are 6 Philips.
  6. That doesn’t really make sense though. What happens when a team such as luton finishes bottom? Their income would be a pittance and the amount could change drastically from year to the next, making it impossible to plan for. (Ive probably misunderstood so ignore me if i have
  7. We all assuming Arsenal are 3rd then? Id go out on a limb and say villa and spurs both have a better chance finishing top 4 at minute
  8. What’s changing in August and how will it affect us?
  9. We were able to reject Arsenal because they offered peanuts. We wouldn’t have been able to do it if they offered 30+
  10. Sure thats the way it is with ffp, no? Don’t see teams outside rich 6 winning much
  11. Well thats what ffp was brought in for, to stop clubs doing a leeds. It’s also made the league anti competitive as the clubs who have made hay when the sun shone now won’t be moved. Yeah we might finish in top 4, for a year or two but we still won’t be near the top 6.
  12. My point is that it protects the established big 6. Its not a level playing field, how can you increase revenue and become one of them if u cant spend initially? It’s nearly impossible. No one wants runaway teams, but thats what we have had with city for past 10 years. Same with utd 20 years before and pool 20 before that
  13. City have dominated the league for last 10 years, same as utd for 20 years before that and Liverpool the 20 before that. They all spent the most money in them years. Nothing had changed with introductions of ffp
  14. So you don’t think the likes of Tesla dont make loses initially to get market share? Most companies have to spend in first few years to exceed. That’s capitalism. Not telling companies they can’t spend to get to where they want to be competing with the likes of Mercedes.
  15. I never said they didn’t. Its rigged towards the big boys. Never mind being billions in debt, as long as their revenue is bigger, we’ll use that to keep the lower teams in their place, even though they are debt free and have owners who want to spend.
  16. That guy is talking bollox. He’s taking in a short time frame. Doesn’t mention Arsenal/Man utd/Chelsea spending hundreds of millIons over past 2-3years and have hit their limits. We spend 10 times less and hit our limit.
  18. Is zaha not away at African cup? Not much point in a loan if he is

I agree to an extent but you don’t need to develop to press defenders. A fit worst striker in the world could manage that

    Matty Cash

He isn’t good enough for us now. Need a proper rb who knows how to move inside to create space for winger
  21. I googled it and some seem to think he has a 20m buyout clause
  22. Though i was googling and apparently he has a 20m buy out clause
  23. Saw somewhere us being linked to summervile from leeds. Doubt they would sell at minute
  24. Given our current campaign and were we are in the table, there wont be any of those close to us regarding revenue. Also I would take everton figs with pinch of salt
