You must of missed it when we put 5 passes together about half way through the second half...... I was amazed!! That was a piss poor performance, like the last 4 or 5 games (including the Southampton game, they were poor then too, such a flukey win!). I voted Westwood as he made a couple of decent covering tackles when the defence was nowhere to be seen and he seems to be the only one who can land a pass.

Not sure I agree with that Lowton was skinned time after time by their Number 7 as was Luna for that matter when he swapped wings. I'm no fan of Hutton but I think he is seemingly better than either of our first choice fullbacks and what he does bring is experience and grit to a shell shocked bunch of kids. Based on the shambles of yesterday I would recall both Ireland and Bent too if possible. Yes it is that desperate. Hughes has already come out and said he wants to sign Ireland on a permenant deal in January to ward off anyone in the summer. And isn't Bent injured atm? So that would be both those out the equation. Not sure on Hutton though and how he getting on.

He's been gifted 2 goals and currently offers very little and was so bad yesterday he was replaced with someone who didn't even stand out that much in league 1. He's been as useless as the other poor players we've signed. League 2 you mean Was amazed when they signed him, I go to a lot of League 2 games and there are so many better players, even of the same age that are better! Maybe Villa should hire me as a scout if League 2 players is what they're after

Would be lucky to get half that for Benteke the way he's playing atm (or not as the case is now as he's injured). Will probably keep getting injured too now as that would some up Villas luck recently.

Wouldn't make an immediate impact as he'd be one for the future (So potentially a summer signing) but Villa scouts have been at a lot of Cheltenham Town youth games this season watching a kid called Zack Kotwica.....he's only 17 and quite a few clubs have been scouting him. He looks like he could have potential but doesn't fit into the Cheltenham team as they are a very central playing team and he is a fast winger (So very Villa-esque).... Because he doesn't fit into the team he would be dirt cheap too, they tend to let players go very cheap and their record fee received is 400k. Just been sent out on loan to Gloucester City (Conference North). Back to Villa in general, I'm hoping we sign a couple of players in Jan (Keeping optimistic haha) with a bit of experience would be good too.

Hoping for 10th, anything 14th or above I'd be happy with though as it's a step in the right direction!

1- Finish 12th or Above 2- Top Midlands team 3- Score 50 goals 4- Concede less than 1 per game average (So 38!) 5- Go on another cup run but do it properly this time and beat the League 2 teams!

I take my gf with me to all the Villa games I go too.... she actually likes football and makes me go watch Cheltenham Town in league 2 with her haha. There's no guaranteed win as such, Rotherham I'd say should be a win but as other posts have said, crowd will be low for the "atmosphere"... best atsmophere I experienced last season was probably when we went 1-0 up against Bradford.... obviously as we know it went a bit downhill after that lol. Also against West Ham was pretty good.

But who would he play for? He'd rather just pick his own Stilyan 11 by the looks of it haha.... Am tempted to go to this, is a 660 mile round trip from Cheltenham though hmmm.... Good to see Lambert playing aswell! Dunno whether to wear a Villa shirt though,I'd probably get absolutely battered by a load of Glasweigans!

What knoppy said. He's 23 and imo I think he's been awesome for the last third or so of the season, getting the form back as to why Villa bought him in the first place!

Why? I don't think Bent fits in with the way Villa played this season..... I think he's a great player but just doesn't fit in with the current squad so I can see him leaving to be honest! I'm hoping Benteke stays for at least another season and I think he will.
