    Two important thing's for pre-season games. Fitness and getting new players to gel and get used to our system.

    6th. Top 5 are nailed on to be City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea and spurs but after that it's up for grabs.

    We scored quite a few from distance last season. In fact, I can't remember the last time we scored more from distance. Lowton, Benteke, Vlaar, and Holman all scored some cracking long-range goals. I voted for Okore, because who doesn't want to see a repeat or two of his performance against Chelsea in the Champions League? What I meant was we don't have anyone whose a consistent threat from distance, as in the opposition aren't going to see Lowton get the ball 30 Yard's out and think "Oh crap, close him down before he shoot's".

    Tonev because barring the odd one off last season we didn't have anyone who could score from distance. It will really help having a threat like this when we fail to break team's down because either Tonev will score or the fact the opposition know they need to close him down will open up gap's elsewhere.

    He's like the opposite of Ireland, work's his sock's off but no technical ability whatsoever. Need a bit of both at this level.

    No way. Iv'e got an FM save with Crewe and Belhanda had played for Villa. Although he was only there for 1 and a half seasons so if we do sign him he'll bugger off in Jan 2015.

    According to twitter, we've had a bid of 3 mil rejected by nordsjaelland for defender jores okore.

    I think he's got the talent to get first team opportunities Arsenal but he'll have to take them with both hand's. By the time he get's to the first team,Wenger might be gone and they could but spending bigger sum's of money to get trophy's. If he'd stayed at Villa there's almost no doubt ( barring injuries ) of first team football probably within the next 2 year's.

    Yeh it's a shame about Dale Stephens, I think he's quite a good player but not going to happen now. Luke murphy seems very likely though as does Cresswell. Wouldn't be surprised if both of these lads have signed by next Friday.

    Apparently Lucas piazon is a no-go because Lambert couldn't guarantee game time that Chelsea require.

    Twitter bollocks has us linked with a loan move for brazil u19 striker Lucas piazon with a view to a permanent deal. Not seen too much of him tbh. Don't really know why I'm still looking to twitter, or even why I'm posting it on here lol.

    I'd like to think we would be aiming for a top ten finish next season. Considering the new TV money, I don't think 40K is that much for a first team player who's only 21 (who will likely get better) at a mid table club.

    Someone told me we have approached PSV for Dries Mertens. Not sure how much truth there is to that but maybe Lambert is planing on buying a load of Belgian players lol.

    Keep Benteke, sign the center back version of Benteke, add a CM, LB and a winger, provided all our first team players stay fit for 90% - 95% of the season, I don't think top 6/7 is out of reach.

    Backup GK, a new CB, LB, CM and a winger. That's assuming we don't sell any of the player's around the first team of course.

    Really sad to see him officially retire. It will be an amazing feeling if we get 40000+ for the Chelsea game and we can give stan a great send off, both in the 19th minute and during the lap of the pitch at the end. Hope he stays at the club in some capacity. Great player, great man and a great professional. Some one who every young player should look up too.

    The Bosingwa free-kick was ridiculous. I was sitting in the Doug Ellis and you could see the mark on the turf where Samba had gone over. It was literally about 3 yard's from the touchline. Unbelievable performance.
