Dexter is great fun in a macabre way. Well worth watching though I don't think it's on Netflix any more. Hall's accent itself is alright but he mixes it up with glottal stops you'd expect from a rougher accent so it doesn't quite sound right, but for an American it's a good stab.

Yes I've heard worse but it verges on Dick van Dyke cockney at times. It seems a bit of a random part for him to take as everyone else is your run of the mill English actor.

I've been watching Safe on Netflix, I don't think it's meant to be funny but one of the families is so ludicrous I can't help laughing. It doesn't help that I twigged that the Dad played Barry in Four Lions and can't take anything he says seriously.

I've got an old pair of those black Samba Adidas trainers. I thought the whole idea was that they were based on Franz Beckenbauer's boots but to wear casually, so I guess everyone's right. You can't go wrong with Adidas really.
