Even with this one De Gea left a lot of the goal free to shoot in. Obviously Ronaldo got the perfect amount of pace and curl on it, maybe I'm just being harsh on goakeepers in general but I find it strange when they stand so far to one side. Theyre almost entirely relying on the wall.

Yep I'd have bet my house if I could afford one on him burying that. Bit of a stupid free kick to give away under the circumstances. What a game though, and Spain look excellent and drawing this may do them a favour in the long run. I think they lost the first game when they won it in 2010.

Our school did actually separate us into sets based on 'ability' for all subjects including PE as an experiment because behaviour was so bad or some other shite. I was half decent at a fair number of sports but was smaller than most the year so was in set 2, and the problem was most of the bullies were in the same group. When rugby came around the had a legitimate reason to batter me, though even in badminton I still used to get smacked on the arse with a racket regularly. I **** hated PE.

I think this is the first major tournament since I gave up playing Football Manager so don't have that deep a knowledge of quite a lot of teams, especially the wonderkids. Saw a list on the BBC and I hadn't heard of any of them so am hoping to discover some new players. Overall I'm really looking forward to the tournament, after not really being all that arsed during the build up. Helps that I've got the first week or so off work.

I think he has been an excellent man manager and created a great atmosphere in the changing room. It looks to me though that even in the Championship the game is becoming more tactical and that's where he falls short of others. With Bruce it's about getting the best players he has on the park and getting every ounce of effort, but little tactical acumen as far as I can tell. I actually fancy him to make some shrewd signings even if we don't have a pot to piss in this summer, if he stays.

There could have been a loan fee as well on top of that. It's amazing how many of our signings have been a complete waste of time, many of whom done pretty well elsewhere (the jury still out on Gollini mind you).

I think it's already started for me. Whenever I have to use a pen to write something down, after about two sentences my hand almost goes into spasm and looks like a crab claw. And I hardly use my phone compared to most other people.

Nah he's not going there I don't think. They seemed to have moved onto the best thing. Tbh this could turn out quite well for us if Bruce goes and we get some compensation.

Out of interest does anyone know where we'd have finished if taking into account matches played after Steve Agnew joined? I may be wrong but I thought that our season turned around roughly when he came. I'm just about in favour or remaining with the status quo but just wanted to double check that.
