I'm going to repeat myself here but it's because every time I watch them and us I think it makes more sense. Ivan Toney and Phil Billing would be no risk signings for us. If they work, they'll take us to the next level. If they don't there will always be a market for them. Worst case scenario lose 10m Best case scenario we have signings to rival Ollie and Cash. Of course it will depend on which club wins the playoffs. I've been attacked in here before for wanting Cantwell. We would have only got him if they were not promoted. Same for these 2. One of them will be getable

Not sure if it's all fans but the Everton lads I know don't rate DCL as much as outsiders do. Maybe he's a bit of a highlights reel player.

Be interesting to see if we try to sign Ivan Toney. Our resident Brentford fan can give us the low down. I'm sure DS has the inside line. Looks like he could go on to be something special. Papers reckon we're after a CB to cover Engels moving on! Be a little surprised if we do but like the look of Collins at Stoke if DS doesn't trust our youth options

Leicester have been selling star players to fund transfers in. We'd probably need to sell one of Martinez, Mings, Konsa or Targett for big money to fund new arrivals. I'm leaving Jack out of it for now because we can't afford to sell him. But we need to plan for that too.

He's started 14 games for us! Finished as a footballer He's struggled for form since his injury but has 3 goals and an assist. Wtf were you expecting!

He's a very good squad player for us and most premier league clubs. On a good day he's a starter. He's scored 6 premier league this season already. Villa fans should be loving him. But the thing is his ceiling is higher than most. And it's frustrating for us that he's not hitting his head off it. He'll ll be 26 this summer so he's the same age as Jack. I think he should be given some slack. If he can get consistency and the confidence that goes with it he'll be some player.

Some interesting comments here! We have to rotate so 'rested' might be more accurate than 'dropped' We need big games from Ross, McGinn and Bertrand today. Can't go back to relying on Jack

Think Newcastle have had a relatively successfull transfer window. Wilson and Frazer should be ready to go and with Saint Maxim and Almiron, Newcastle have enough to create a pretty dangerous front line. I think they'll be safe, whether Bruce survives the season or not.
