Batshuayi would be a fantastic signing and looks like it could happen if Chelsea sign a forward.

We need to invest to have a chance of staying up. Losing McGinn, Heaton and Wesley has decimated us. In terms of investing, if we get the likes of Bowen, Mitrovic, Benhrama, Batshuayi we have a far better chance of staying up. But even if we go down these players won't lose value. In fact their likely to be worth more. If we go down Mings, McGinn, Jack and a few more will be gone so that money will recoup this investment

Has had more than his fair share of chances. Move him on now, surely we have young players more deserving of game time.

Kodjia drives me mad. One of the most frustrating Villa players to watch. It we could give him intelligence and desire he'd be a decent player. I'm not sad that we are out, pity we didn't give a few more youths a game

Think we should recall RHM. In many cases breaking through in football relies on luck. I don't think we have another striker for Fulham. If there is a chance going this lad should be given it.

I'd rather recall RHM and give him a chance than recall Hogan.

Should be recalled even if Heaton is only out for a few weeks. Is having a decent season in the SPL. This is as good a chance as any for him to make the break through here. Cup games etc.

Such a shame. I honestly think he had all the attributes to adapt and thrive in this league. 5 goals wasn't a terrible return, playing badly and starting to improve. Anyway it's moot now, hopefully he recovers 100% and fights to get his game with us in the Premier League next season

Tackle didn't look so bad in real time. Luiz seemed to be acting as translator. Hoping it's just a contact injury and nothing serious. To be honest neither Luiz or Wes looked overly concerned when he was heading off. I presume we won't know either way until tomorrow. By the way Wes was very good today. Played so much better when he had Grealish playing close to him.

Couldn't agree more. But surely he has to be given the chance to rectify our issues. The man got us promoted he deserves time and support in this window to fix our problems

Our target last year was promotion, he succeeded when it looked unlikely. If the Board back him in the transfer market I believe he can keep us up

The football his teams played at Walsall and Brentford is the very reason we signed him. His win rate here is still well over 40%. As pointed out we had a similar bad run last year with folks on here calling for his head. We ended up getting promoted. He clearly deserves more time to turn things around. But he needs the backing of the board to bring in the quality we need on the pitch also.
