  1. Hahahaha…..What a load of bullsh1t! I doubt Lambert would even have the balls to claim any credit for Huttons form. FFS he left him out of the squad for 2 seasons for no reason. He never gave the lad a chance even when he played well on loan and for Scotland. If anything the form of Hutton actually highlights how poor a judge of a player Lambert is. What an intellegent, diplomatic and polite way of disagreeing with my viewpoint. The same argument has been had roughly a million times on VT now, so I'm not going to bother here. But I will say our defence is demonstrably better this year, and that is evidenced in the stats. Anyway thanks for that, made my day. Apologies, did not mean to cause offence. We can agree that Huttons form this season has been one of the few positives. I should be in a much better mood seen as we finally won a game and are up to 12th in the table. Who knows if Cole didn’t go off injured we might have played some entertaining football.

  3. We need an assailant manager and a first team/development coach. Steve Round would be a good shout and I think we should offer someone like Brain McDermott a first team coach/player development role.
  4. And whats your view on this Richard? Our first team coach leaves at the beginning of our busiest calendar month of the year. What do you think of the coaching situation at our club? we need a new one One?? Is it not more like 2 or 3? well one has left so you'd think we need to replace him Only if you thought our coaching situation was adequate. It isn't and this is reflected in how clueless our players look at times. We are a mess at the moment.

  6. No it is not completely understandable. If he left for the stated reasons, he owed the club and Lambert the loyalty to stay for the December/early January fixtures. I’m sure even Keane would have higher standards so I’m guessing there may be more to the story.

  8. Only thing holding Grealish back is that he is too light at the moment. Hoping he will baulk up over the coming months. Where the hell are you getting this from?
  9. Cannot see anything but a loss and taht is really gettin me down. I don’t remember ever having so little belief in our club. I try to see positives, but I cannot dismiss our recent form and the fact that we seem to be unable to arrest the decline. My only hope is that PL might try something new. If he doesn’t then what is the f**kin point.
  10. You make a good point about a minutes silence being more appropriate. However the 21 minute applause is likely to get more media attention and as such be more effective for the campaign.
  11. Aitor Karanka really looks like a really good coach. IMHO he is exactly what we need at this club. He's ruthless too so I think he'd have no problem jumping ship from Boro. It would be great to see our players working under a really good coach. It has been a long long tiem since thsi was the case...too long in fact.
  12. Well you’d have to question if some of the fault is with our first team coaching staff or lack thereof. As far as I know we are one of the few teams without a proper first team coaching setup. It’s a pathetic situation and we have been all over the place with this in recent years. We need a first team coach and an assistant first team coach as the bare minimum. As far as the academy goes it’s hard to rate the success of Everton’s. If we compared players who came through the youth structure, into the first team and who are still playing in the Premier League. They’d have Rooney, Barkley, Richard Dunne, Osman, Hibbert and Rodwell While we produced Davis, Barry, Cahill, C Gardner, Gabby, Ridgewell, Weimann oh & Baker, Clarke, Albrighton and Bannan. Obviously Rooney is the stand out player. But I don’t think our academy has done too badly.
  13. As my post said "with the current injury list" if he's not on the bench it would mean that our manager, who decided to spend a fair amount of money on him, now rates 5 CBS ahead of him. That for me suggests something is not right. Of course this is a manger who didn’t rate Alan Hutton for 2 years and then decides he’s suddenly worth a starting place and a new contract so…….
  14. He's been playing for Denmark U21 so can only assume so. Well playing for the U21s is a step back for him as he has 10 senior caps. I'd imagine if the Danes though he was back near his best they’d be giving him a run out in the senior friendly against Romania. I guess Monday will be instructive. With the current injury list, if he’s not in the squad then something is wrong.
  15. He suffered a very serious and cruel injury. Does anybody know how/if he has recovered from it?? Is he fully fit?
  16. Whats Lambert got to do with this? Not good enough for us, that is all. Not good enough for us! He should be at least given the chance to prove this one way or the other. Lambert doesn’t not seem to have a clue who is good enough to play in his pitiful side. He has decided the majority of the players he actually signed are not good enough!, the likes of Tonev, Luna, Bennett, Sylla, Helenius, Lowton etc. Then you have the Alan Hutton situation….someone explain that to me! On top of that you have Joe Cole clogging up a place on the bench. It may only be my opinion but I think DJ has more to offer than Cole, Sylla and Tonev put together.
  17. Surely if they have any interest in keeping him they'd get busy offering him a new contract?
  18. Its saddens me that we may never see him given a chance here. Surely that clown Lambert is getting good reports back!
  19. Huge gulf in class between Danish U21s and even our piss poor first team squad. Still it's nice to see he's getting game time somewhere.
  20. Unless we plan to swap Vlaar for him!!
  21. Ah come on now. This is his profession. The owner, his boss, gave him a new contract a few weeks ago. If that same owner now decides to sack him, then he should of course pay him whatever the clause in that contract dictates.
  22. I suppose it’s because to be fair to him it seems to hurt him as much as us that we are useless. He is trying and I think he still believes he possesses the potential to be a good manager. I think the sack will shatter that belief. It’s similar to how it saddens me when we release youth players who tried like f**k but just didn’t have the talent. In both cases I am willing to believe up until it becomes all too apparent that they can turn the corner but eventually we all have to accept that they are not up to the task.
  23. He's been running the show for Chesterfield since they moved him into the hole. This loan could be really good for him and us.
