After what? What has he said? Do you have it on tape? I could accuse you of insulting other VT members, doesn't mean it happened. Think I'll wait for the evidence to come out rather than make an instant judgement on a well respected and praised coach of 20 years.

I'm all for stability, if and when we see even the faintest sign of a manager instilling confidence, belief and togetherness and/or any hint of displaying tactical nous and the ability to implement a game plan and make positive changes to affect a result. What we are seeing now is continuous regression on all of these points. He is indefensible at this point.

We might have a manager who can use him properly by the time he's fit again. Also he's only had 3 games on the way to being ruined so he shouldn't have been too negatively affected by the Villa curse. Every cloud..

No point in stability for the sake of stability, not when what we have is a stable downwards trajectory in results and performances. Sack him, and if the next guy can't get it right then sack him too until we find someone who can. I believe this is now a great squad that should walk automatic promotion with a decent goalkeeper, and just maybe Bruce was important in bringing some of those players in, in which case I thank him for that at least. But he certainly can't get them performing anywhere near the level that is required.

This would make sense, but there's no chance that they are able to serve more than 2 players in 15 minutes.

I rated the manager's performance 'very good' since he's clearly a blue nose double agent getting us to perform badly on purpose. It's the only plausible explanation for how awful we are.

We've changed the owner, the board, the manager and the players and there is still a fundamental problem. But there is one thing that hasn't changed in that time. Something rotten at the very core of the club, within Villa Park: the half time catering. If the fans are unable to even get served a pie and a pint within 15 minutes, imagine how the playing staff must be suffering. No wonder then that we come out every 2nd half like we're playing underwater.

Met Savo in a multi-storey car park in Sutton or somewhere when I was about 8. We scrambled about for a scrap of paper to get his autograph on, he didn't mind waiting. Loved him!
