Are they just reading VT? We seem to be signing literally every reasonable and mostly well-regarded suggested player in necessary positions. It's just so strange for the club to be going out and buying so many players that we actually want and need to improve the squad!

Sounds like a dig at some of our squad, and quite right too if he was busting a gut to get a contract while others weren't putting in a shift or wanted out. Gutted for the guy, would still love him to be involved somehow. At least we have signed at least 3 other natural leaders now though.

Devastated by this news. I can't see us competing for promotion if we lose Lescott. I guess that I'll take Rangers as a 2nd team whilst he's there, I expect them to be winning the Premiership this season now and competing in the knockout stages of the Champions League next season. All the best Joleon, a true villa legend.
