    New Laptop

hey guys. Im currently in the process of searching for a new laptop after my HP dv7-3110ea has finally given up! I'm looking for a decent replacement that can handle the basic word processing and web browsing but also deliver excellent multimedia experience - mostly films and gaming. I've got a budget of around £750-800 at a push. Unfortunately i've fallen behind on what specs are best these days so was hoping for some help. I've identified two laptops which look quite promising: Asus N550LF-CK108H: http://www.amazon.co.uk/N550LF-CK108H-15-6-inch-i7-4500U-Processor-Blu-Ray/dp/B00GKG1OSU/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1400075102&sr=1-1&keywords=laptop MSI GP70 2PE-026UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GP70-2PE-026UK-17-3-inch-Bluetooth/dp/B00J2PLCJ2/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1400075102&sr=1-2&keywords=laptop I'd really help any advice you guys can offer, on what i should be looking for, if these two laptops are any good, or any other suggestions you may have! Thanks in advance.
  5. Living in Oxford I am a fan of Oxford pale Ale, keep an eye out for anything from the Abingdon brewery!
  6. So a physio isn't a physio without a scanner ? - Most physio's don't have an MRI Scanner (Neither does AVFC) - do you know how much those cost ? - a diagnosis is established by the physio doing a number of tests - for example for hip he would check the range of motion - and the pain the patient was experiencing, and checking the area for swelling. I feel this is going from one extreme to the other. He has around a minute to try and find out what an injury is based on what the player tells him and what he can feel. There's very little he can actually establish or do in this situation when all he has available are a few exercises and some magic spray. So why do we have them at all them ? - why does your ordinary NHS physio take around 3 years to train ? Anybody could run on, spray a bit of ralgex deep heat, and say 'are you alright to continue ?' I think you've missed my point. yes people with a lot less training could run on with the spray etc. but after the game, that's when they work out what the real injuries are and there multiple years of training show their worth. Plus i reckon if you asked the players who they prefer to see running on to help them; some random waterboy or a trained physio who they know and trust.

  8. thanks for that, will try what you suggested!
  9. I'm just installing this but my brother has been complaining about very slow fps and also the 'ai end turn' process taking really, really long. Has anyone else noticed this?
  10. Met him once on a night out in Brum. He was off his face but managed to put a sentence or two together and seemed nice enough, loved the fact i remembered that pass to Albrighton against Fulham! Wish him all the best with palace!
  11. That's it. You're on the list. Great, i've just had to re watch the dad's army sketch now. Still, it's a welcome break from SSN!
  12. I would too except it's from holloway!
  13. please! Come on Sparky, get it done!
  14. You'd be surprised. To be far to him he is usually just ahead of the media and other journos with gossip and transfer talk. Probably because he's still got a lot of contacts at various clubs and players etc.
  15. Let's take the Arsenal game. We had two penalties both born from pace rather than guile. Scored one goal on a break that started from their corner and Delph hit the post from outside the box Chelsea, from drunken memory we carved out a couple of chances Liverpool i recall Benteke creating one for himself, then a flick on for his second chance, other than that not a lot Hardly what i'd call creating 'more than enough chances' to be honest Yes but these are against three of the best teams in the league, with 2 of them (Chelsea and Liverpool) having excellent defences. In games like these you only get a few chances because the opposition are so good, not because we are lacking. let's wait and see what we can do against some 'easier' teams before we criticise our creative ability.
  16. " set up the cross that put jesus in the tomb" - take a bow sir, absolutely hilarious!
  17. Impressed with what i saw, will hipefully take that into the next game. bacuna looked good as did the rest of the defence. For me though the two stars were Westwood and delph who once again ran the show. If i had to pick a Motm it would be Delph because he took his goal very well. in comparison Westwood missed a much easier chance ( i know there's a lot more to his game than scoring obviously but he really needs to start taking easy chances like that if he's going to properly push on into the player we all think he is capable of becoming!)
  18. Luna again doing well going forward. Is always there to provide an overlap and keep the ball moving
  19. Can we stop mentioning Milner. it gets me all excited that we actually might be signing him.
  20. It's interesting that in all the interviews for avtv and stuff the one player the staff and players keep saying they themselves are 'excited' by is Tonev. he must be doing great thinks on the training ground. For me he just needs to settle and lets this naturally flow over to the real matches because at the moment its almost as if he's trying to hard.
  21. They're called an 'assistant referee' now although that will probably change soon. I'd go for the lower Holte. Easy to get tickets for a game and really good atmosphere. Can get quite close to the pitch or further back for a better view. As for the game itself I'd go for West Brom on the 25 Nov. Derby type noise and should be a good game with 'nice' football being played.
  22. Yeah, might give Westwood a little reminder that his place is for granted.
  23. El Ahmadi over westwood is the only thing that raised an eyebrow from me.
  24. Broad is on fire! Just hope we keep him on for a while still.
  25. Number 1 is amazing, number 3 is good but not a fan of number 2. As for the Home kit i quite like simple, smart kits. i remember the Lazio style shirt going down well:
