  1. If we could keep our best players our team would be ok. We are in a much healthier position than the likes of Sunderland. Some of our players have a good potential as Ayew,Traore,Amavi,Veretout,Gueye,Okore and Grealish. Richards and Lescott are doing fine. Add quality upfront and we would have a good team. Its arguably better than our teams of the last couple of seasons, the difference was Benteke. The key is to keep the best players who are adapting. And I dont think the board wont pay anything. Theyve paid around 20m as an average. Its some of the signings that were terrible. Some positions really needed investment were it havent. Im not saying we are definitly due a promotion definitly. But just saying we are not tge worst squad ever to go down there.
  2. I would like us to catch one of Sunderland or Newcastle. That would make my season "ofcourse if staying up was an option I wont say no to it". For me we continued iur good form until the silly thing from Ayew.I was thinking Gabbys being back would only be a positive "I know I know". But we really needed him in our away games. Had we won last night we would have been only 3 points to Sunderland, 7 to Norwich. If Newcastle lost and we win next week we would still have slight chance to be in the mix. We need those 3 teams to go in a very bad form so that we could have our slim chance or we do extremely good. I was really frustrated by Ayew, now hes even not playing again for the next 3 matches. I think we need to gamble with Sellars beside Gabby. A win against Norwich will still push us up. But as **** we are upfront, we are even missing 3 players there ! Going down with Sunderland and Newcastle will be much easier to accept than Norwich or so. Those media will not concentrate on us only, especially after the signings theyve made. I know for Newcastle down there it would be hard for us, but I really think it would be hard and tight anyway, we might have some relief from pressure if theyre down there with us. Im also really fearing that Garde could resign. We really need him. His teams isnt playing as the bottom team for a while now apart from scoring.
  3. In our position. We are suffering in terms of strikers. We mainly need a striker. Then a keeper "which we were working at". A right back might be needed. We wont need to work too hard to have an inmprovement to get a winger. However for the way we are playing I think a good striker would be what we need. Debuchy would be a good shout. Then if we could find an improvement on Gil and Grealish "Kharzi" then fine. I dont think there are a lot of options out there. Players wont risk their self for us easily. Ofcourse loans are another case. Im not sure why its not being finalized. We are really crying for a striker. I still think the board are trying as Garde himself said its difficult because of players themselves.
  4. Swansea result havent helped. But still we could look at Norwich. If we we win the next two wed be most likely 4-5 points from them. If we draw and win we would be around 7. Still there is a slim chance. Wigan stayed the other year by winning couple of games in their last 8. Theyve stayed once by winning their last 2 or 3. Other teams results are really important especially in our case. Our target is to win 8 out of 15. Which looks definitly hard. But say 5 out of 11. Thats looks much achievable. Then depending on draws or losses we will need to win 2-3 of our last 4. Other teams losing could give us the chance in our last few games. Last season for example, when it mattered for Sunderland theyve pulled wins. Same for Newcastle,Leicester and even us. To have that chance. We need teams to mess up. We still have couple of 6 pointers. Weve done badly in the first round in them. We might do it rightly this time. We are still 10 points to 17th. If Chelsea lose then weve gain a point over all teams up to 14th apart from Swansea and Sunderland. Weve really missed a good chance to close the gap.
  5. An ok performance. We need to get better upfront. I think we need Veretout then maybe Gestede. Hopefully we could have the win in this game.
  6. F-We somehow stay by a miracle then progress every season!
  7. Other results definitly matters. If we get 6-7 out of the next three. We could only be 5-6 points to Norwich who are currently 16th. Win next three and we could be only 2 points to them. Swansea arent pulling the trees yet getting tge odd results. Theyve also won with a lucky goal against West Brom. They arent scoring yet somehow winning. If we could get some of these we could be in the mix. Wigan used to turn it in the last couple of games. If we are around 30 points after Utd. Then we have a chance *depending on others*.
  8. Bournemouth have only got one win since a while. Against a team which had three wins vs Utd when they were in their worst form. Against a miserable Villa. Red carded Southampton. They arent pulling trees. Nor Sunderland who are winning by luck everytime. People keep saying we had our 4 points by luck. Yet we deserved it more than all these teams. We are lacking goals. But to say we are getting points by luck and forget the real lucky teams, thats unfair.
  9. I think Garde needs to rest our key players For Wyconbe. I would go with, Guzan Hutton Richards Clark Bennett Westwood,Lyden,Sanchez if possible (is Gardner around) or dare to say it, Richardson. Sinclair,Gestede, Grealish --- We need a fit Ayew,Veretout, Gana, Kozak and the whole defence next week. We have City after Wycombe so its not worthing gambling on the mean time. The lads played 2 game in 4 days, some even played 3 in a week. 5 in two weeks is really too much for them.
  10. He was really good yesterday. For me he was MotM.
  11. It was a really hard game. Yet we forced them to put another defender. Its not as many teams score against them. The went three or four games without conceding. I think in the Newcastle or West Ham game it would have been different with Kozak. Against Wycombe I think I would start Gestede as its hard to play 4 games in only 10 days. We have City after that so I wont gamble for it. I will take out all key players.
  12. He is a good option to have on the bench. Lot of power to tire a tired defence. Not enough to start every game. Won us 5 points though this season.
  13. If we could get 6-7 points in the next 3 would be fantastic. Especially if one of the wins comes through Norwich. Andthe first one next game against West Brom. So Beating West Brom then having rest till after January to go to West Ham. 6 would be great. 4 would be ok.Then a must win against Norwich. That would put us on 19 points. Slightly better than Leicester on the same stage. Then if we could get 12 points out of the next 9 would put us 31 before the last 4 games. Southampton,Watford A,Newcastle and Arsenal. It will definitly depend on where other teams are. And them losing would only help. But its still possible. The soon we win on streak the easier it would get. We need to go to West Brom game with Garde knowing how to change our awful away form as he changed the home form. If we beat West Brom whos to say they wont go into a losing form to get dragged? Im not saying them to go down but to feel the pressure. Many reams go into a really bad forms at the end of the season. People keep saying other results doesnt matter. Had Newcastle lost their last 2 wed only be 5 points off them. If weve been only 5 points off safety will everybody say we dont have a chance? Norwich may be in a free fall. If they keep losing with Newcastle and Swasea unable to catch them, say for 3 rounds. And we take lets say 5 points out of our next three. Wed only be 5 points off them with 3 teams in between. So it would still help us to keep in touch. Had we draw against Norwich and Sunderland, wed only be 1 point off Sunderland. We all thought even a draw wont save us. The way I see it we have 12 games which we need atleast 18-19 points from. That would make us on the race till the last 4 games. Last season weve had 19 points from 15 with only 12 goals.
  14. We still got a chance. Im afraid of the pressure away from home. We need to rest a lot of players before the derby. Or is the game not this weekend?
  15. Good signing. We are really suffering from having Hutton as a starter.
  16. Sanchez is good in a certain game. I really agree him marking Mahrez would do a good job. He just shouldnt start every game and he need to really focus as he really miss the ball in a dangerous areas.
  17. A win tomorrow or even a draw might help a lot to finalize some of these transfer.
  18. Leicester are dangerous on the counter. For that I might play 5 at the back. Although weve done good against Palace who are the same. They have Mahrez who ripped us before. Hopefully we could have something from the game. If we won this, we are back to the race. Come on Villa. I think there will be a good roar from the fans which would help the lads a lot.
  19. Tbh hes been very good with Okore. Though I would sell him for the price and profit.
  20. Bunn Richards.Okore.Lescott.Cissokho Bacuna.Westwood.Gana.Vertout Kozak.Ayew
  21. How much he would come for? Was it reported? Is he a right or left footed?
  22. We are lacking goals. We are gifting goals. But we have been hard to beat at home lately. An attacking signings would change a lot. Looking at it as 10 wins its almost impossible. While looking at it to be in touch with Bournemouth and Newcastle before we play them would seem easier. We arent world beaters. We havent shown confidence against teams around us. But all could change. So lets be in touch and see how it goes. 3-4 points in the next two. With losses or draws for others. We could suddenly be 3-4 points to Newcastle. 5-6 to Bournemouth. Try to match their results and better them slightly. Try to win Vs Norwich and Swansea. If we win the right games or atleast dont lose some of them. 7-8 wins might make us stay up. Close the gap and keep in touch. Play every game with spirit. Try to get what you could. And see how it goes. The Sunderland result might end up a blessing. I really wanted the two to lose I thought their game together thisweek is wrong for us. As we wanted someone near us to try and catch. If we done a miracle in the weekend and won again. And the gap were 5 points. Wont it be possible to think of staying up? People keep saying that we dont need to worry about others. Thats right but not in all cases. Had Bournemouth and Newcastle didnt win against Utd,Chelsea,Liverpool and Spurs. Wed be where we are? We need to be in touch. Once we click on we would have a chance.
  23. I really admire useless. He seems the only one whos keeping faith. Mine has gone with Sunderland, hope somehowcame before Palace game. Well having hope doesnt mean we are saying staying up is even more than 10%. But a in this battle percentage changes with every game and results. We are still 7 points behind the nearest team. But reduced 11 to 8 to the 17th. 13 to 10 to the 16th.
  24. He's good, but I think has regressed. His physicality isn't helping him. Anyway he must be near the first team. Especially now with no Adama.
