If somehow Newcastle and Bournmouth lost. It will be good two weeks in general for us. If we get something from Arsenal then it will definitly be. Although the next two weeks will be massive. PaulC. Yes you need other teams not to get results. If somehow youve improved your form yet the gap was very big then what have you gain? We are having Arsenal which losing to them isnt the end of the world so we need teams to lose although I think we will get something from this game. Would be funny somehow to end 15 years without beating Arsenal in this season lol. Other teams results are very crucial to us. Last season we lost to Southampton 6-1 yet managed to get safe at the end of day thanks to other results. Anyway we need to get near the 19th as soon as possible. Getting out of the bottom would give us a real boast.

So youre talking about 25 games with 24. That is more than what we had after Hull game last season. Yet we lost twice after that. For me being in touch with other teams end of this month would give us a lift. Couple of signings in Januaryif we are still in touch. We arent playing very bad. Ive seen much worse Villa side last season than this. 6-7 points next 4 games would be great and give us hope. That without losing to either Norwich or Newcastle. Win those two and we would back to the race hopefully. But being 6 points behind the nearest team is really horrible.

How on earth are people comparing Weimann with Grealish or Traore. Traore has only started once in a cup game and went injured. Weimann was the most player apart from Guzan to feature! Let Traore to play all that then compare him. To give a player less than 20 minutes every game and compare him ti someone who make all exciting you have to go just by seeing him in the team sheet is really unfair. Now that doesnt say that Traore doesnt frustrate by trying to go past 4 players all the times. Anyway I just hope Arsenal to qualify now. Could be better for us to play them than them getting out.

Last season we went into a streak of 6 loses twice. We went into a run of 2 goals in 11 games. After we came from losing 6 we drew 3 times. One of them was against Southampton which could be similar to this apart from this being away. We played against Southampton and West Ham for draws and got them. It gave us confidence even with the missing oppurtunity against Burnley to win two in Bounce away to Palace and Leicester at home. Then get back to one of the worst run in history. 11 games around 3 points and two goals. What helped us were 10 points in 4. Then 9 points in 5. We could get it from certain fixtures during the season. Last season we had them early. Now we need to collect them. What im saying is tgat confidence is being built. If we get somehow sneak a draw next game it would be a big bonus and a boost. And talking about Leicester. They had 8 points in the bag first 4 or 5 games. Then only 2 points during their run towards the new year. We are collecting solid points under Garde. Apart from Watford who wont takes two points from City at home and Everton Southampton away. Luck had helped us for 20 minutes which helped our mental problem and built some confidence.

John. Im not saying Chelsea are going to get relegated. They will most likely be atleast top 10. But their confidence are really low atm. They could be where they are beginning of next year. Many teams in the mix gives you more confidence. If you remember Lambert first season. It was a race between us and Wigan until we dragged Newcastle Sunderland and Norwich with us. It gave us more relief. For Chelsea Im just talking about the nean time. They have a game against one of the rivals not sure who though. Their is one big problem btw, we need to rely on the word remove three times this month ! And everyone knows what they usually do.

Its a case of which are the must win games. We missed oppurtunity against Watford. We havent got all 3 against Saints but ended our away Rot. If we would put much pressure in us we might not move forward. Last season we went into the bottom 3 on February and lost the next two. We somehow had a penalty last minute in a derby which have changed the whole thing. Other teams helped us during the two games by losing. We could be in a much better place than Leicester last season in February. If we went 19 points in 29 i would agree we wont do a Leicester. But we still have a chance to be somewhere like we were on February. I think we were 22 points after the Hull game. So possibly we were 22 on 24 games. We need 16 points to be where we were last season. 16 in 10. But anyway week by week would be the best for us. Even if we beat Newcastle we would be most likely 20th. But most likely a point behind. And we might get back to the race slowly. We might stay up yet being last for the next 8 rounds. We need to keep in touch. Build on confidence. Then see how it goes.

Guys we are in a better position than last week. We had a whole new defensive line although we got lucky first half. But it was a confidence issue which is getting better. Players are growing. The only time we were dire in the last 5 games was Everton. Thats for us. Although Bournmouth won everyone else have lost Chelsea downwards. To me its a step by step. We need to be in touch with teams. I could see from the second half we are getting mentally better. Pressure is still there but others as well. Particulary Newcastle and Swansea. We are one point closer to all teams apart from Bournmouth. Hopefully Liverpool wins tomorrow. Next week we have a horrible fixture. But most of the others have the same. Swansea will have City. Norwich Everton. Chelsea Leaceister. Utd Bournmouth. Newcastle Spurs. Watford Sunderland. The likely one to be won is Watford. Yet hopefully there form continues. Now the Newcastle game will be horrible to watch. But atleast for me I still have got some FAITH. Our position is definitly better than last week. If we could catch up Newcastle and be 19th. It would give us a good boost. Now its a confidence game.

Well you could argue about the differences between us and Everton, or the difference between pienaar and Benteke. But he done the same after he didnt find his feet at Spurs. He came back on loan then permenant.

His way of dribbling is really useful. He just need to pass simple passes to find a space to explode. Sometimes you feel hes arrogant. But he needs to start a game soon to have more minutes to impress. Which could make him more comfortable. Still hes a unieque player. Just needs to be used properly.

I think its important for us that Sunderland lose today with a bad result. Confidence might begins coming if we could get a place higher. I thought the Bournmout result was ideal. It kept Swansea near the s**t. And havent let Bournmouth out of it. They have the worst fixtures anyway. Swansea will play a big part as theyll have couple of relegation teams to play. If we could beat Watford. It would be a big relief. We would drag them back to this. Last season we were 10 points behind Newcastle. Weve been above them two weeks before the season ending. Its a must win against Watford. After that just keep in touch with teams. And look how will it work. Last season we went into 6 games losses in raw twice. 11 games with only two goals. Entered the danger zone at February. Then lost twice while were 18th. After that weve turned the corner. Under Lambert we were a deadman walking with 15 goals conceded in 3 games. Stopped winning till february. The turned the corner again. Our situation is much worse now. But the time is earlier. 6 pointers matches is now the really must win games.

We still have a chance. As someone who have put the games till the new year. I think one big result yesterday was Swansea drawing. Bournmouth have big game to come. Swansea are still in a freefall. If we somehow won against Watford. Things would look much more better. Other teams would be in a real pressure. We need to win 3 games. Against Watford Newcastle and Norwich. If we did then we still have a good chance. Under Lambert weve only won 4 games also. And havent won again till february. The lack of goals and physicalty is really an issue.

Pathetic. Been trying to find any place to watch the game. Been calling the hotel to put the channel. To end up watching this. I will be honest enough to think that inside I was fearing this game more than last two. I hust fail to know how we would score or keep them off scoring. But what I saw was complete s**t.
