When have Sunderland appointed Allardyce? Was it before Newcastle? If not then he has the ratio as Garde or so.

Ofcourse as Leicester had many of their starting line-up last season. Especially their goal scorers and assists providers. Well I couldnt say they havent improved in terms of defence and midfield. Especially Kante and Drinkwater.

I thought Gabby and Ayews combination would be the best we had *apart from Benteke*. I know that Gabby isnt consistent and lacks a lot of things. But hes still useful, I really think we missed especially in some away games this season. He is a better CF than Ayew, could be more useful the Kozak and Gestede in certain games. I think if we go down we need to have hin around, but hopefully he click on and help us staying up. I think with Ayew we might have had more chances but I think a midfield of 5 might be better against Liverpool. Well Gestede in the bench would only help.

When I was thinking about the Norwich game, I was thinking where the goals will come from. Then I thought of Leacott mainly, Gabby and hoped Sinclair could get something. Gladly thole two havent let me down.

Some said that Leicester were only 5 points to safety, yet theyve only picked 2 from their next 5 to be 7 to safety with 9 to go. Im not saying we are a better team than Leicester especially up front. But I was just mentioning it in terms of points. If we get anything above 3 points from the next 4 we would be better than Leicester in terms of points, although with a bad fixtures. So a bonus win against Liverpool would make 5 wins after that could mak us stay. Which we had done last season.

If we win against Liverpool, we would definitly have a chance. Only 3 points than we were last season at the same stage. We ended the season 3 points above from safety with two to go. Win this and its most likely 10 points to West Brom. There is a good chance it will be one points to Sunderland, 4 to Norwich and 5 to Newcastle. Thats if we could win against Liverpool which is possible. Those 3 are yet to play each other andare yet to play Swansea, so there are couple of six pointers to be played thats without counting Bournmouth, who are in a good form atm the moment yet could go in a bad run too although they have a good players. A winning against Liverpool would be crucial, if we win that I could see us safe by the end of May. On the mental game we might handle it better than other teams if we got back to the mix. Ofcourse we prefer other results to go our way which would only help.

I wasnt talking about the whole 13 games though. I was saying the next 9 games. 12 points would put 28 with 4 to go. The if we could do a Wigan by winning 3 out of Southampton Watford Newcastle Arsenal. We could have a chance by then.

VillaChris. Thats if it was only Newcastle, although there is a good chance that could go in a bad run, I think Swansea and especially West Brom are due to one. If West Brom didnt collect points in the next couple of games I think they will be in trouble soon. Bournmouth on the other hand are doing good, yet a couple of bad resluts could drag them back. A win next week and I would say we are definitly back to the race. Newcastle are one point more than Hull at this stage last season, who relegated on 35 I think. Anyway we need 12-16 points from the next 9 games to have a chance. Which I think its doable.

If we did well to be only one point to safety, I dont think it was due the window as we will catch teams who people were saying that theyve worked pretty well. It will be us only getting 8 points in the first round. Although Im not saying we shouldnt have gone to get a striker as we definitly needed a good one.

Btw, if we somehow win next game we would only be 3 points to where we were last season. Last season weve needed 5 wins and a draw. Now we need 7 and a draw to be 38. We might somehow stay up with less. So 5 wins and couple of draws before the Newcastle game could still give us a chance. I know we dont have Benteke to score. But we are playing good in general.

A m ole. Most of our results and goals came against top half teams. Not only Leicester. People are forgetting we were missing a lot of players lately. If we won against a team with these players missing some wont think we deservedit. It we are the team who are missing players.

I wont consider Liver,Everton,Spurs and Chelsea as a write offs. Not at home for sure. If we could sneak a win next week against liverpool, things would look much more brighter.

Great result. Although Newcastle winning didnt help a lot. I think West Brom could go in a real dire run of results hopefully. Something like us in the first half of season. So now weve gained the same amount of points as what we had in 20 games. Bring on Liverpool lol.

I would play him tomorrow instead of Sinclair. I think Garde would play Sinclair so I would like to be proved wrong about Sinclair.

If we could win. Then the target would be 28-30 before the last 4. To have any chance of staying up. Then we would have a chance to do a Wigan by 2 or 3 on row. What im afraid of is tomorrow we are really really toothless. Only depending on Gabby to score. I might throw Sellars during the game. Might put Gil and Grealish together behind Gabby although I think Sinclair is going to start.

The good thing is that we are playing somehow the easier hard fixtures at home. Liverpool, Everton, Spus and Chelsea. I prefer it this way than the other. I think Gabby coming back would add a lot to the team. He offers things we dont have atm. Our counter attack have been pathetic. Since Garde came weve only lost twice at home. On form Watford and Arsenal. All of our perfomances were good. We only scored once the first goal.

The thing is could we deal the pressure? We need to be on the top two. Anything less than top 6 at the beginning of the league could affect our confidence. Weve all seen what low confidence have done for us. Thats why winning some game and fight to even not be bottom would help us mentally.
