  1. I would love to see Machida beat Jones in the rematch!
  2. I watched a bit of TNA for the first time in a while and I saw Chavo Guerrerro making his TNA debut. If people think WWE is bad then I suggest they stay well clear of TNA!
  3. Yeah, Murray played twice yesterday. Mixed doubles quarter final on the morning then the mixed doubles semi final on the afternoon. Not sure if he'll beat Federer and if they are going to win the doubles then Robson needs to sort her serve out! Last night was awesome with those three gold medals in the space of about 30 minutes. I'd love to know how many world records have been broken so far. Everytime I tune in it seems like there is another world record being broken! Great stuff so far. I'm really enjoying watching it.
  4. If they pull this off successfully then it will be an unbelievable achievement! I didn't realise that they couldn't land it manually themselves due to the signal being behind. Crazy stuff.
  5. Nash didn't get injured. After he got involved in the CM Punk stuff he started a feud with Triple H. Triple H then beat him in a match and that was the end of that. One of the reasons that he didn't return after that was because he was away filming as he has had parts in a few films like Rock Of Ages and Magic Mike. One of the problems is they must think that fans suffer from amnesia. They way some of the storylines come to an abrupt end and new rivalries start, involving wrestlers that just weeks before were enemies is just stupid. For example, when Kane returned and he was doing all this embrace the hate stuff with Cena and then Orton. That all came to an end and the other week Kane and Cena were on the same team in a match! The main problem is the fact that they have no competition. TNA will never be able to become a serious rival like WCW did. When WCW was winning the ratings war, Vince had to make drastic changes and look what happened when he did! The lack of competition today has allowed them to become complacent.
  6. Hates abit harsh. You can't hate the guy for being picked. If he continues to perform poorly and the manager still picks him then the blame will lie with Lambert. I don't hate him for being picked. I hate him for all the mistakes that he makes on a regular basis! Look how many times him giving away needless free kicks in dangerous positions has lead to us conceding goals! As an experienced professional, he should know better. I'm also not saying that I hate him as a person off the pitch. I just hate him as a player on the pitch. Not harsh at all.
  7. As I said in the Forest match thread, I can't put into words how much I hate Stephen Warnock. If we don't sign another left back before the 18th i'll be gutted. If Lichaj isn't going to be right back then he should play left back instead.
  8. I honestly can't put it into words to tell you how much I hate Stephen Warnock!!! I know it's only a pre season friendly but we shouldn't be losing 3-1 to teams like Forest. I always find it hard to stomach when we lose to lower league teams though.
  9. Daniel Bryan's facial expressions are comedy gold.
  10. What makes people think that Lambert will play one upfront against West Ham when we have been playing 4-4-2 in pre season? If he was planning on going with one upfront then surely he would have experimented with it more by now...
  11. The "youngsters" are growing up. It is time for them to show Lambert why they deserve to remain part of his squad. It really is a make or break season for many!
  12. Yeah I know but it shouldn't be like that! He should get treated like the worthless piece of shit that he is. He took the lives of many innocent people. He doesn't deserve any human rights. The fact that he could end up living in comfort on death row for YEARS is an absolute joke!
  13. I read in the newspaper that they have put a mask on him because he keeps spitting at staff inside. I also saw pictures of the place where he will be sent to if as expected he gets sentenced to the death penalty. He'll be living fairly comfortably inside for years by the look of things. He'll be allowed newspapers and magazines plus access to television and radio of an evening. Ridiculous! The last time the death penalty was actually carried out in Colorado was in 1997. They've had people on death row in there for like 20 years!
  14. ^^^ I wouldn't say awesome. Half of that team are unproven at Premier League level for a start.
  15. Correct. The way things are going, give it 5 years and I probably will be though!
  16. We can't fill 42,000. Redeveloping the North Stand would definitely make our great stadium look even better but that's about it. We wouldn't suddenly attract thousands more fans through the gates every home game just because we have a new stand.
  17. I'm torn on the Terry saga. Well, I'm actually torn on verbal racism in general. At the end of the day, it's just words out of someones mouth! I suppose it all depends on the sort of person you are though. For example, if someone that is black or asian called me a white word removed, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I would probably laugh, depending on the situation. I know people will disagree with this post but that's just me. I am not easily offended. Especially by someone calling me a white word removed. I am white and I am definitely a word removed at times. That's not racism, that's just truth telling about myself!
  18. I wouldn't get too carried away by this. Even if he does sell the Browns, it doesn't mean that he'll be throwing a crazy amount of cash into the transfer kitty. He can't anyway due to this new financial fair play ruling that's coming in.
  19. Some of the best centre backs in the world don't have great pace! Look how quality Laursen was for us and he was slow. He made up for the lack of pace with his positioning. If Vlaar does the same then there's no problem.
  20. I was just reading an article on the Daily Mail website about Vlaar signing for us and right at the bottom of it the article says that Villa have reacted to a signal from Tottenham that midfielder Danny Rose will be allowed to go on loan. Hopefully it's just more rubbish from them and there is nothing in it.
  21. So, the figure being mentioned is £3.2 million. Decent signing for that price. Hoping that he can adapt to the pace of the Premier League pretty quickly!
  22. I had a break from playing it for about a month. Started playing it again the other day and to my surprise, I'm actually enjoying it again. I'm currently on prestige 19 rank 38. I can't see them adding anymore prestiges now so once I finish prestige 20 I will stop playing it due to the fact that I don't like playing it when you can't rank up.
  23. And I wouldn't be surprised either Welcome Ron... again??? I'm only joking.
  24. 1. Man City 2. Chelsea 3. Man Utd 4. Newcastle 5. Tottenham 6. Arsenal 7. Everton 8. Liverpool 9. Villa 10. Sunderland
