I’m down. Villan_of_Oz mentioned it previously as well, I just never got round to following up! I play on Xbox one, so if you are a hardcore PC gamer - don’t judge me!

    Croatia

Could do with some Croatia advice from those who have been. Wife and I are looking at having a week or so there this year - debating whether or not take the baba (1year old). We want to see a few of the main things there, so really that means visiting Dubrovnik and Split (plus Hvar). Really want to see the Plitvice Lakes as well, but it’s a good 2.5hrs away from Split. Read it’s 2hrs from Zadar, which also looks like a decent place to visit. Anybody managed to squeeze the lakes into a trip at all? If so, how did you go about it?
  3. Playing very well, can beat anybody when playing like this. The only thing that is stopping me from getting too excited at the moment are those games in hand that Middlesbrough, Derby and Bristol have. Once they have been played and we know our position based on those, then I will get excited if we remain in the top 6. Looks good though, especially as we were struggling for wins a couple of weeks back.

I’m still a bit crap, played the best part of 2500 games now as well. I seem to always be one step behind the good players, where as before it was not building quick enough, now it seems to be not editing quick enough. Also, I can build to try and get high ground (often lose out), but I find that it gets broken down too easy. Really frustrating game. Enjoy it though.
  5. In a bit of a pickle keeper wise at the moment aren’t we. Thankfully we have people who can make better decisions now. Dean Smith will know what he wants to do ready for next season. Just throwing it out there - I like Nyland. Even if he is a confidence player, which for a keeper is quite risky.
  6. Yea. We haven’t had Superdry though? They’ve gone into sports stuff recently...heard it here first.
  7. Oh great, so we have gone from a roaring lion to a leaping Puma. The following season we’ll probably end up with a purring kitten... Meow. Jokes aside. I actually like Puma. Quite exciting really.
  8. Needs to be given a new contract for a year. He’s a massive part of us actually creating some stability within this club, finally. Need to keep these sorts of characters around whilst we build.
  9. If Bournemouth receive a bid of, say, 2m from a team and they accept it, we can match that bid and they have to accept it.
  10. Here’s to putting an end to rottenucj!!
  11. Dammit did we forget to create a Tommy Elphick thread when he first joined!
  12. Google searched images that I try to post from a URL isn’t being accepted by the ‘insert image from URL’ option. Just trying to post a pic of Jack Grealish from here - https://goo.gl/images/fspfcs Edit: JG - links work it seems. Assuming it’s because the image is coming from google?
  13. Players. We have some serious crap to get rid of..
  14. He’s a bit limited on who he can pick though to be fair...
  15. Is she in it? I didn’t realise...should probably watch it now.

    Chelsea

Plus let’s not forget they spent 50m on the Dortmund guy in January, who will be joining in the summer...
  17. Nope! Stats stats stats!! Bringing in undervalued players that score highly in certain areas of the pitch - for example, crosses/passing/shooting/tackling... and selling players that are overvalued!

    John Terry

My thoughts based on this page of posts - Ohhhh my god John McGinn is going to Bristol City and Terry and DS hate each other because we can’t defend properly. Meanwhile, Johnson looks like he has seen a fit lady a few rows ahead and is giving her a cheeky smile and a “how you doin?” whilst his new best mate Terry looks on. That’s it. We might as well just fold and give up.
  19. Cheers Stefan! What is the ref actually looking at there then if he doesn’t notice a blatant shirt pull? FFS. What did he give? Anything, or did play just go on?
  20. Any chance you have it recorded to grab a pic of it? Haven’t seen any of the incident myself...
  21. Birmingham are a good side at the moment because they are playing as a unit - with one or two really good players. We are capable of playing as a unit when we have certain personnel fit, at the moment we are putting in a lot of new or returning players to make up our team, so we are having to learn quickly. We also have players, who, as we know, are a bit crap. So Smith is working with what he has available to him. We’ve beaten Derby and Middlesbrough on their own patch, and was robbed of beating West Brom. We took it to Leeds at our place but came up short. Yes we have been struggling since last month but that is because we have been missing key players and have had to fill in with some returning loans, as well as fitting in a new keeper who has come to a new country to play. Monk hasn’t had to worry about these things. The two managers cannot be properly compared against each this season.
  22. It all depends doesn’t it. There’s a whole number of factors that come into play. Ours this season is that the majority of our players are over the hill, in the final year of their contract, and probably don’t give a shit... so, how is smith supposed to get the best out of that lot? He probably will from a few of them, but not all. Hence the need for changes in the squad to improve balance and the mentality.
  23. You’re missing the point. The debate is, Monk is doing a better job than Smith. Smith has had, what 15 games, and joined part way through a season, Monk has had 43, including a full summer window. But anyway, yes we have spent a lot under the previous managers, have all of those purchases worked out for us? No...it doesn’t matter how much we spend if the style of play/tactics/morale etc is all wrong. This is what Smith is having to change - notice how barely anything was spent in the last window (his first window with us). And just because Birmingham haven’t spent anything doesn’t mean they don’t know how to play as a team with some decent players... it really is a stupid comparison, and to say that Smith isn’t doing as well as Monk is just rediculous.
