Until 3 months ago I last rode a bike seriously when I was 17, 13 years younger and 4 stone lighter. Box Hill and Leith Hill are going to hurt me aren't they? I've ridden in large groups before so the plan is to doddle about at the back of the pack before nicking the perfect lead out to sprint down the Mall like a smug word removed.
