6 of the first 7 games next season are on TV, highest in the league

Media will portray them as the People's club

The media called city winning the champs league the greatest story in football.

Sickening.

Sorry but not a  chance sadly

Unless they strengthen significantly more they're still lacking depth all over the pitch.

I think in the medium term they're likely to be man city (save for proper regulation) - but for now they're coached by Eddie Howe regularly field Burn, Longstaff and Anthony Gordon. They're not amongst the best squads in the league.

Was close to what was said on the BT commentary at full time.

It was what the commentators said on BT. Might not be word for word but it was something like "the greatest story in football finally has an ending"

“History made in Istanbul! The treble complete! The greatest story in club history has an ending and what a final chapter...”

They might have meant in the club’s history… the greatest moment for just Man City.

The commentator didn’t say that though and as such it can definitely be interpreted as all of club football.

If he only meant it with regards to City, then he fluffed his lines.

They forgot to say doping in that line. 'The greatest story in football doping finally has an ending'.

They can just get saudi clubs to buy the players to prevent rovals getying them then they aign them at knock off prices from saudi club in future

Im pretty sure neves will end up there soon at (course discount rate to satisfy FFP)

Seems very fair

Be interesting to see what the reaction to the PL from clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Spuds and ourselves will be if they shuffle money around like a deck of cards.
