I will, and i might drop by Villa Park when (not if ) he is starting for you in a year or two. Villa will probably also become more regular on danish tv, with both Okore and Helenius in the team. You´re getting a striker with a lot of talent, but Helenius are not ready to be in the starting eleven. He will need time to adapt to the pace of PL and to build on some more muscles. I guess most of you have seen some of Helenius´goals in the linked videos. As you might have noticed Helenius is despite being tall not a traditional attacker. Weak in the aerial play, although he have improved in the last year or so. Instead Helenius are technical gifted for a striker this tall, and he also have a great shot with his right foot. As some of you might have noticed in the videos Helenius almost don´t score any "easy striker goals". Helenius are best in a more free role, where he can use his technique and great shot. He will certainly struggle if placed as the sole attacker up front, in my opinion Helenius are better when playing together with another striker, which he has done at AaB. Among AaB supporters there are mixed feelings about the transfer. Of course everyone can understand why Helenius are so keen on being sold to Aston Villa. Shifting to AV is a unique opportunity. However the transfer fee is not as high as hoped by many AaB supporters as PL clubs usually pays big money. Aalborg BK are struggling financially and I certainly fear that there won´t be money left to buy a decent replacement. Even though Aalborg Stadium are looking very small when you are used to PL stadiums, Aalborg BK are in fact one of the top clubs of Denmark (top 5)! In order to compete with the other top teams in the danish Superliga, it´s a huge problem that Aalborg BK are selling key players cheaply compared to other danish top teams. Premier League is very popular in Denmark. I will certainly follow Aston Villa in the coming season. Not only because AV are signing Helenius, but also because AV is a big traditional club, who are willing to give young players a chance and not spending huge transfer fees like some of the other clubs in PL. In Denmark Swansea are getting a lot of attention due to their manager Michael Laudrup. It would be nice if the danish media would focus more on other teams such as AV. That might happen soon as Michael Laudrup yet again probably are about to leave another club after a short stay. That´s true, but Helenius are probably signing the contract in a matter of hours. He should pass the medical without difficulty. Helenius haven´t had a serious injury in years. I dont see how this deal won't go through 4 years ago we played champions League. we played 2-2 at old Trafford beat Manchester City 2-0, deportivo la caruna 6-1 and celtic 3-1. we were even linked in papers with former most expensive player in the World, denilson. last year we were almost bankrupt. our entire Club shares the value of a new Volvo today. thats how it goes in sports and economy, we need to sell Helenius. Not because we need the Money right now, but because if he went away on a free transfer NeXT year that would be a massive, really massive blow to our Club. So it might seem weird if the hold up is a matter of 200-300k difference. But to Aab 200k is a lot of Money. so back to the player. No other Aab fan mentioned this I see. Helenius kicks like Drogba, I don't know the English expression for this kick, but I guess its 'with the inside'. his shot bends a lot, He is to my knowledge the only one in our League who does that. It makes his shots unpredictable, and feared by goalkeepers in the League. Funny side info on Helenius. I know you are gonna want to make your own song for Helenius of course. Yes there are some very promising young danish players. Especially the danish under 19 national team is considered a "golden generation". They didn't qualify for the under 19 championship because they lost 2-0 to Portugal last weekend. However Denmark played better than Portugal despite the danish goalkeeper received a red card after just 5 mins. If they had qualified for the under 19 championship Denmark would certainly be among the favourites. Many of the danish players are already at clubs such as Chelsea, Fulham, Inter Milano, Bayern Munich and Ajax. Christian Eriksen, 21, is also a big talent. Eriksen is leaving Ajax this summer. Eriksen have been linked to many top clubs like Milano and Liverpool. It though looks like Eriksen are sold to Dortmund. Viktor Fischer, 18, is also a very promising talent. Rasmus Falk is a very talented player in the midfield. Beeing very technically Falk is a key player at Odense BK. However Falk is very fragile. In fact Falk missed the entire spring season due to injury. The very best are already gone at 17: Andreas Christensen - played with Chelsea 1st team recently in USA. Pierre-Emil Højbjerg - Youngest ever to play for Bayern in the BL.
