Personally I like Wolves as my old man supports them and he took me down quite a bit when I was younger, nice to see nobodies clicked them. Maybe silly as I don't live in Birmingham, having only been there twice, etc, but I just can't stand them. I disliked them as they were our rivals, but after those games when they unfortunately were up in the PL, especially two particular games, my disliking grew to, well, hatred. Can't stand them. Got nothing against Wolves and was a bit happy when baggies stayed up that season when they were all but doomed to be relegated as that were a derby that I did like. Of the others mentioned I think that the Baggies, Coventry and Walsall, together with the Blosers, all have 'little club syndrome' when referring to the Villa, which is why they hate us so much. Wolves are a decent club with a strong tradition, and are the only other club in the area who can point to their history and rightfully claim a period where they were the biggest club in the area. Well being as I'm almost 42 and was brought up in Great Barr, the bit of Great Barr thats actually closer to the Hawthornes than Villa Park, I have to disagree. Hope they get moved to milton keynes just like Winbledon did. Still too close for me. Can't we just ship 'em up to Clydeside and have them play at a ground half way between the 'gers and celtic. Rodders Posted January 28, 2007 Share Posted January 28, 2007 I have to admit to not having a hatred of any of the sides really, but I should qualify, i have never lived in Birmingham and hence know hardly any of the rival clubs fans. Of all of them, the stench emanates greatest from SHA, and their porn dwelling upstart boards with slag in tow, and I do have a slight wish that they somehow crash and burn and fold, but I wouldn't call it hate. Pity perhaps. Still beating them is very enjoyable nonetheless, but tbh I couldn't give a monkeys about the other sides, and frankly I'd love to see Derby, WBA and Wolves all go up this season as I'd love to have a few decent derbies to go and see.
