I'm offended people can be so blind. As a father of an autistic son, I can concur it's not trivial. However, I admit to remaining ignorant about Autism before he was diagnosed. As such, I'm not offended at comments calling someone autistic - especially on an internet forum. It's about as offensive as calling someone by some other derogatory term (idiot, dolt, etc). I'm not using anything as you put it, I have used two things one was his lack of understanding when he came here (mon era) I have forgiven him for this it was fun after all. I didn't make the original claim I just said it was reasonable to ask the none offensive question based on his behavioural patterns. I can't diagnose over the Internet but I can sometimes spot behavioural patterns that give clues about an individual. We're building a squad at the moment, it's clearly not the finished article. i think the builders need to get back on site.....because at this rate we will still be waiting for the roof in 10 years time. I think 30-35m would get us exactly where we need to go. Left back, 5/6m? Right back, 5/6m? Defensive midfielder, £7/8m? Creative type midfielder? - £9/10m Add another winger, or more help for midfield and I think we are close to where we need to be. 30-35m would make us competitive for top 8. 20m and we sit still - as other teams will spend this and more (as they did this season). In terms of league position/points then I guess it depends on whether or not those teams around us also spend a similar figure on improving their squads and if they do if they bring in better/worse players than we do. The squad that we have at the moment is as poor as I can remember in my 30+ years following us. Given what good players cost I think it is going to take a hell of a lot more than 20 mill and three players to make the improvements needed.
