Football Manager 2013

anyone else finding it's too easy to piss your players off during the teamtalks??... i'm only in the first pre-season matches and give it the old 'there's places up for grabs' and half the team switch off, the others get angered....

Even when they play well and you give them a little praise, the same result...

it's pretty shit and spoiling it for me (that and the match engine doesn't quite replicate what you tell the team to do - ie, press their midfield and tackle hard only to see my players running backwards away from the opposition.... also, even when on 'overload' the defence (and midfield) seem to be quite happy punting the ball 50 yards back to the keeper...)

Seriously considering cancelling my order.

The Villa team is shit too! (No offence Andy!!!! You've done your job too well!)

Don't forget it is just a beta and as such is not necessarily representative of the final product. Also SI are well known for tracing problems and fixing them even it the fix isn't instant.

I think the data is pretty good this year, I'm please with how it has come out, all the right players seem to be in the right squads and other than Stephen Warnock, most of the players perform as they should do.

Demo is out this weekend.

Any idea what day mate? Alot of people saying different days.

Do you also know if it will be a different build (newer/older) from the beta?

Wow, the other issue is certainly the technical ability of the lower league players. Just one example is the amount of those in the lower leagues who can bend shots in from 25 yards out and further, I have seen 7 so far and have only played a few games (and watched a few).

I am Eastleigh btw.

We’re pleased to announce the Football Manager 2013 Demo is now available to download via Steam. As with previous years, the demo will allow you to get half a season of Football Manager game-time in before it ends. Then, if the user wishes, that save game can eventually be loaded into the full retail version of FM13 and continued.

For the first time ever, this year’s version contains a half season version of Football Manager and Football Manager Classic. The FM version allows you to choose one ‘quick start’ league to play, whilst FMC will allow you to choose three leagues to run from the start, exactly like you’ll find in the full game.

As the demo is only available via Steam, you will need to have a Steam account to play. If you haven’t done this yet, you can do so here – http://store.steampowered.com/about/

Then, when Steam is installed and you’ve created an account, follow the instructions below:

1 – Launch Steam and sign into your account

2 – In the search bar, type Football Manager 2013 Demo (alternatively go directly to the game here - http://store.steampowered.com/app/207890/)

3 – On the right hand side, click the ‘DOWNLOAD DEMO’ button (you may need to scroll down to see this)

4 – Follow the instructions to complete the download

5 – Once downloaded, launch the game and it’ll install and load up.

If you have any issues launching the game, please verify your game cache as shown in the link below:

If you encounter any type of 'Virus' message when attempting to run the game, this is a false positive. There are no viruses within the FM.exe. We very much suggest adding the FM.exe to your exceptions list. This issue has been encountered when running Avira and Avast!

We very much hope you enjoy our FM13 Demo, please feel free to leave feedback within our forum feedback thread found here – http://community.sigames.com/showthr...02#post8199602

Thanks.

The Sports Interactive Team.

I downoaded the Beta then and I find myself really struggling with GUI on the full mode. It seems very cluttered and untidy, almost like there trying to put to much info on the screen at one time.

Classic mode looks and has a better feel to it but loses to many features.
