VillaGoMarching
Just putting it out there. Would it be acceptable if we had to sacrifice Gabby to get Carroll and Johnson in? I've started the car, and set the Sat Nav to: SR5 1SU.

FamousHolteUnion
In all honesty, Andy Carroll is exactly the player we were crying out for yesterday. An unsettling presence who could hold the ball to allow midfielders to get further forward. Agreed and just imagine what the result would have been yesterday if Carroll had gone to spam? 0-0. VillaGoMarching
Ian Abrahams @BroadcastMoose Hearing rumours Andy Carroll has spoken to Aston Villa about a move away from Liverpool In conjunction with this pic: ...supposedly showing Carroll not getting on the team coach with all the other players after the WBA game and taking a private car to go somewhere. Rodgers must be in trouble, having to do some stewarding on the side.
Eames
Just putting it out there. Would it be acceptable if we had to sacrifice Gabby to get Carroll and Johnson in? That's no sacrifice.... he needs to move on and so do we, he's been shite since MON left.

lexicon
I'd be happy with Carroll - he needs a fresh start somewhere and we do need a striker like him.
Mantis
Johnson is a good player but is he really all that he's hyped up to be? City fans don't seem to rate him that highly.
CI
The guy in the white shirt looks completely out of place, as if he's just stood up to deliver a PowerPoint presentation Definitely shopped lads
AVFCforever1991
Johnson is a good player but is he really all that he's hyped up to be? City fans don't seem to rate him that highly. Thats because they are comparing him to all their other players e.g Tevez, aguero,Nasri etc...
Richard
He's hardly featured for them in fairness and they have world class players to compare him to. He's not a worldie but he is a class above anything we have in that position

jacketspuds
The point about having Carroll hold the ball up and allow time for out midfielders and wingers to join the attack is a great one. He is exactly the sort of player we need. Maybe then we'd also start to see the best of Ireland as well. I'd also look to get rid of CNZ if it meant getting Johnson and a DM in.
