Voinjama
Sharapova's gone and so has my interest in tennis. Williams is still in.

Voinjama
I just knew the Wimbledon thread on Villatalk would not be about the tennis, but the eye candy (or lack of) instead.
leviramsey Posted July 4, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted July 4, 2012 Somehow I think that the Olympic Women's Football thread will be similar. I trust GarethRDR is assembling his collection of USWNT imagery as we speak.
HolteEndRob
I think Ferrer will beat Murray. From British to Scottish in 3, maybe 4 sets.

rjw63
And that previous shot actually came up on a page full of Lisicki pictures so I was duped (not being an expert on either). Now if this was a porn star thread...
sonic_bouma
stuck a bit of cash on Ferrer to beat Murray... its a close one to call but hes won the last 2 meetings and appears to be in better form beating both Roddick and Del Potro.... im hoping the semis will be... Federer v Djokovic Tsonga v Ferrer

BOF Posted July 4, 2012 Moderator Share Posted July 4, 2012 Tsonga not having it all his own way in the other match. Kohlschreiber's a bit of a rocket for someone 'only' 5'10".
RunRickyRun
Murray was great today. He held his nerve at the crucial points in the game which was enough (just) to get him over the line. I didn't see him beating himself up as much as he did in the past when things were going wrong. The Tsonga match is too close to call.
HolteEndRob
I thought Murray would probably lose to Ferrer but after going a set behind he recovered well to be fair. I don't think he'll beat Tsonga. Tsonga has been serving great so far and I think Murray will struggle to break. Should be a decent match though, whatever the outcome.

kidlewis
Tsonga is v powerful and they've been v close before. However tsonga is playing a lot better now. I am not sure Murray will make the final this time. Even if he does. Will he stop djoc?
sonic_bouma
Fair play to Murray...i thought he'd get beat in 5 sets.... when Ferrer was a set and a break up and serving for the 2nd i thought that was game over... if he had gone 2 sets down to Ferrer there was no coming back but he fought back brilliantly.... Murray in previous years would have probably crumbled..... one thing is for sure he isn't gonna get much joy off the Tsonga serve...an extremely powerful player...very close to call that one
