Spoony
One positive is that Wolves haven't exactly been setting the world alight either
sparey16
-yawn- I would get Ireland on, Gabby/N'Zog not being able to get into the game due to being triple marked! Bent needs more service without a doubt, we know he can score yet dont get the chances for him. Petrov is looking okay, few times hes made the wrong decision in the final third, but oh well. KitKat
Quite disjointed in performance and formation, need something to knit it together. Gabby providing our best option of width and we're not finding Bent enough. Generally too lethargic in our build up play and just not incisive enough so far. We also don't look as much as a thread from set pieces. I know a lot of the time in the past couple of seasons we haven't been much of one either, but with Young and Downing the opposition at least thought we were. Nice pass across the ground then to Zinedine Dunne, alert defending to get it away from Heskey in the box under pressure!
Bazdavies79
Terrible first half, slightly the less shite of the two. Petrov is doing ok. I'm afraid we're watching two teams set up by two shite managers.
briny_ear
Hmmm. Hardly a first 45 minutes to get those stayathome fan back to VP.
jon_c
No idea where those 3 added minutes came from! Herd's head injury, I think.

brummybloke
utter shit so far, ball booted in the air by collins time after time after time after time get used to it because this sort of football is what we WILL be playing against the majority of teams this season, there is absolutely no excuses for this type of play other than it is what they have been instructed to do so from the manager. hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooffffffffffffffffffffffffffff and then hope heskey tries to control it which send it a further 20 yards towards goal then hope their keeper fumbles great plan. no doubt though some will pretend it is all good and we are ace and going to win the league and we are plying great blah blah which can only be from posters planted here by the board. Hamburglar
There isn't a lot of real quality on show unfortunately. Where has the enthusiasm from the Blackburn game gone. This is like Fulham all over again but this time we are at home!! We really need some people to take the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half. OnlyOne
We look so poor. I guess the only positive to take is we looked worse last season against Wolves at home during first half. We best get some players in before the window shuts.
Ulver
Dreadful first half. No shape, no pace, no bite. I don't get this formation at all. All it's done had isolated Bent and made him completely ineffective. Which in turn has made us toothless as an attacking force. We desperately need to add some bite to the side in the second half. Maybe switch things around and get Bannan on the pitch. Stick him where Heskey is. Although Emile's worked hard and done a shift, what exactly has he added to benefit the side in terms of attack? Oh, and another big crowd for the board to savour. You reap what you sow ...
