  1. This probably isn't the first time, they've talked. I bet he's come over to sign and meet the staff. Norwegian papers (http://www.tk.no/sporten/article6065320.ece) are reporting Molde saying, they were told of talks two and a half days ago - and they've probably been talking some time before Molde was told ..
  2. I agree. I think that although Villa is a top-half team, we could do with some patience for a good, solid building season. That's not to say, I don't want to see some good football. I think the fans backing of the manager is vital to his efforts to build a team. 45 points and a manager, I believe in, would a great next season. If, on top of that, we could play some football actually worth seeing, I'd be over the moon. 45 points pulled in McLeish-style would not suit me at all.
  3. Good point. And with Solskjær as manager, Berisha would be closer. Hopefully, babyface can pull in a bit more stars as necessary to get this team going again.
  4. I must say, I'm VERY pleased about this news. Solskjær has done well in Norway and has a little bit experience from ManUtd. But most importantly, he could really rally the fans and get us going for Villa! He's reported to have been playing very watchable and attacking football - and winning the title doing so. Impressive. He's more than welcome IMO!
  5. I'm happy with it, really. This is a defeat in the making. Props to McLeish for trying something different, especially double-teaming Bale with Hutton and Cuellar. Best from this game is a draw. UPV!
  6. Loving it! His second long shot of the season? Get in there Stan, keep 'em going!
  7. I like seeing Bent fighting for it. Him and Gabby are running like mad men
  8. He's giving away possession, kicking the ball all over the place and not participating well in defending
  9. Albrighton on for the Zog, Ireland on for Delph 60 min in
  10. He's looking real good this season. I especially enjoy his work rate, he's been relentless
  11. This'll probably be a draw, and maybe by now I should be ready to see Villa as a struggling mid-table team, but I still madly want to hang on to the idea of Villa as a top team. It'll be a tough game
