PauloBarnesi
I think Houllier simply trusts Hogg to do the simple things more than NRC. Its not to say he’s a better player, more that he will listen to Houllier’s game plan is and carry it out. Delph is a major surprise....
lmarsha_926
Delph and Hogg will certainly have the energy and with Spurs light weight midfield, get a couple of tackles in and disturb them.
andym
dont see the concern over hogg/nrc. hoggs done fine this season, much better than i expected and hes coped fine with some big teams and in 2 local derbies. hogg is also better on the ball than NRC and wont be giving it away all the time. hes not as quick as nrc and makes a few rash challenges but he is more match fit than NRC which a DM against spurs is going to need to be. surprised by delph, hope he has a great game. good to see stan back as well
villianusa
Maybe he feels he needs NRC more against City. He did say he would rotate player during the next few games.
lmarsha_926
Hogg was going to play as he was if fully fit it was just who to play with him.
AVFC-Prideofbrum
Maybe he feels he needs NRC more against City. He did say he would rotate player during the next few games. This could be right, there is a lot of games coming up and perhaps he's going to change it round a little over this period. I guess we'll find out. Rich_D
Carew is off. No surprise he is not on the bench. Same with Dunne. NRC hopefully seen as the player that is needed against City in our next game. Either that or he is being benched because he is not signing a contract. Unsure. I am probably just reading too much into things. COME ON VILLAAAAA!!!!!!!
