I was in the Trinity Road that day, I really thought we were going to win the League that year Anyone who says football is better than it's ever been, right now, is talking shite. Ability wise it is, but for enjoyment, passion, entertainment and just about everything else it's definitely not. Stan Collymore made a point about the quality of defending being very poor in the modern game. At the World Cup, a lot of teams were playing with two holding mids and only one up front, yet the goals rained in.
