I've yet to come across a tattoo that's made me think 'That's really cool, I like it'. My brother has one of a Koi carp, and whilst the art is nice, it makes no sense from a 'meaning' viewpoint. He's not into Japan, I don't think he's that much into fish. I was thinking about getting tattoos to symbolize every country I've been to. Like, a small kangaroo, and a maple leaf, and a... uh, whatever Latvia is famous for. But I'd only be willing to get it done in the actual country which means I'd have to go back.
