Palace and Malaga being linked

  Hull too.

Aston Villa's Bannan, Albrighton and Ireland set for transfers as Paul Lambert streamlines his squad

Barry Bannan is being offered a way out of Aston Villa by Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway, writes Tom Hopkinson.

The Scot has been told to find another club, and Holloway rejected a move for the midfielder, 23, earlier in the summer.

But with the Eagles needing reinforcements, Holloway has decided to press ahead, although Hull and Spaniards Malaga are also interested.

Palace just got Ki on loan. Maybe they decided to go for the cheaper option? I think Bannan is a better player than Ki.

Ki Sung-Yueng has gone to Sunderland on loan, not Palace.

There's still hope for Bannan to go there though.

Hasn't Holloway confirmed they're in for another player too?

Pray.

In his motd Interview yesterday, he said he was hoping for another 3/4.

4 or 5 actually, just saw it again now, Ireland, Given, Hutton, Albrighton and Bannan then. Sorted.

Off subject a little. Why hate Holloway, when he just says what other managers have no bottle to say?? He says how it is!

What I love about that is he calls us a half-arsed club that used to be famous and that's why Adam shouldn't come to us, then sells him to Liverpool
