Qwpzxjor1
Wonder why more people haven't gone for Hart?.. I thought Man City were looking to make him their number 1 this season?
Zatman
No Given is still a lot better than him and I think another loan would be good for him and Citeh in long term.

MrWeedMcGrass
Manchester City are ready to snap up £34m-rated Barcelona midfielder Gai Assulin for nothing after the Israeli teenager cancelled his contract with the Catalan club Got to love the Mirror for factual evidence. He was released as he was poor. Somebody there plays FM too much Another Giovani dos santos looks like. Not quite good enough for Barca.

CarewsEyebrowDesigner
I'd prefer if we signed Hart in all honesty.
Rob182
I'd prefer if we signed Hart in all honesty. Me too, if we could keep him happy we'd have a world class keeper for the next 15 years.
LondonLax
I think Man City are thinking the same thing.
Qwpzxjor1
Howcome they didn't want to loan him back to Birmingham City then? Obviously I am pleased, he's a quality keeper and was worth probably 20 points to them last season, but if he was doing so well at Birmingham and they wanted to keep him having first team football - why reject their loan offer? Zatman
They didnt think Given would be fit so quickly as he was expected out until September/October
GarethRDR
Holy **** nuts, Rafinha off to Genoa from Schalke 04. Aside from swapping the superior Alberto Zapater for Miguel Veloso, they're building quite a team down there.
BOF Posted August 4, 2010 Moderator Share Posted August 4, 2010 Could be the start of a purple patch for them. They've basically done very little for 70 years.
Zatman
Still think they shouldnt have signed Luca Toni. Plus they have to appease the fans this year since Sampdoria got Champions League and they need to overshadow this
Qwpzxjor1
Didn't know much about Genoa so I've looked up their current squad. Not bad at all, I must say. Particularly like their new signing 'Chico'. Puts Old Trafford's 'Fergie Time' to shame.
GarethRDR
They do need to sort it out up front a bit. Neither Palladino nor Acquafresca have ever set the world alight with goals. There are goalscorers to be had from the teams around them too; Barreto at Bari, Alessandro Matri at Cagliari (hell, with good service even Massimo Maccarone could grab a couple there). Zatman
Maccarone went to Palermo. Franco Di Santo would be a good signing for them on loan or also could get Rossi or bring Floccari back from his loan

Beautiful place Genova....can easily understand why players would be attracted to playing and more importantly living there. Really makes you think that little further about the nature of transfers, I mean if someone had a choice of Birmingham or Genova, well......the two don't even compare. Birmingham is just so beautiful a city

GarethRDR
Around the €8m mark, allegedly. That's bat-shit crazy if it's true.
