CarewsEyebrowDesigner
If it's on Sky then no point, vested interests from the big Mur-dog would ruin any impartiality. If it's on BBC/ITV then ayee.

Vojskovoda
If ever there was a reason NOT to vote Tory - I think I have just read it Why? Cameron is legit. How anyone can put up with 4 more years of Gordon Brown is just quite frankly, beyond me, just seeing his miserable face is enough to make me fall asleep. Things need freshened up, this crumbling country needs rebuilding, Labour has had their fun it's time to for them to move aside and let Cameron do his thing. A typical example of Labour is the NHS. It's abssurd how little doctors there are, and why's that because Labour are tight and don't want to pay for anymore more doctors which means people with illnesses get shit treatment from the NHS and they're just put on hold because there aren't enough doctors which means each paitent's doctor will spend less time on the paitent's case which means the paitent's health won't be getting better because the doctor is spending enough time on the paitents case. The NHS has been a joke recently and that's why I went private cos it's better.

Yes, I think the Tories were sensible not to invite you to help them with their manifesto. :winkold:

I don't have time to read 27 page topics but thanks for letting me know you're not voting for anyone. Don't you should feel it's your duty as a British citizen to vote for the future of your country? snowychap
I don't have time to read 27 page topics... If you enter a conversation late then don't be surprised if, when you pose questions for which the answers have already been given, you get given rather short shrift. Don't you should feel it's your duty as a British citizen to vote for the future of your country? As a British citizen, I have the opportunity to vote or not as I see fit. I see no one fit to govern and no one for whom I could vote who represents my views. My 'duty' is not to simply vote for someone because I think it is my duty to vote. Amsterdam_Neil_D Posted April 15, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted April 15, 2010 So ..anyone planning on watching the first debate tomorrow night ? I might download it after it's finished just out of curiosity mostly. I don't think it will tell me much as it will be a little staged I feel. Jon
So ..anyone planning on watching the first debate tomorrow night ? I might download it after it's finished just out of curiosity mostly. I don't think it will tell me much as it will be a little staged I feel. A LOT staged, in fact. No audience participation at all, bar for the pre slected and set questions, which they will deliver, and then that's it for the audience. NO come back allowed from them. No cheering/booing etc. No follow up questions. Even the compere, Alistair Stewart, is not permitted to press the leaders on their answers, AFAIK. This is not going to be a glorified episode of question time, sadly.

drat01
I wonder how Cameron will get to Manc as his private jet - funded by Ashcroft - may not be able to fly due to the Icelandic volcano fall out
tonyh29
the jet is funded by all donations not just Ashcroft .. rules say a party can spend their budget how they see fit ... If only public outrage hadn't stopped labour spending £80m on Blair Force one as he wanted , Brown could no doubt have used that for campaigning .. far better to let the tax payer fund labours champagne socialist lifestyle , just like we did when we paid £90,500 for Prescott to represent the government at Mother Teresa's funeral .. that's one expensive return ticket ,don't you think ?
