It's abssurd how little doctors there are, and why's that because Labour are tight and don't want to pay for anymore more doctors which means people with illnesses get shit treatment from the NHS and they're just put on hold because there aren't enough doctors which means each paitent's doctor will spend less time on the paitent's case which means the paitent's health won't be getting better because the doctor is spending enough time on the paitents case. When we conceded again after scoring I felt mentally struck down. It's getting quite sad and desperate now, 6 draws from our last 7 at home? We're hanging in by the skin of our teeth but it means we have to get atleast 12 points now which means 4 wins which right now, despite our easy fixtures (except for citeh) just won't be happening. We're getting worse and worse now and it won't surprise me if Everton still finish above us. This isn't negativity I'm just looking at the situation now realistically.

Why are some people saying it 'cant' happen, of course it can happen, it's happening in most of Europe! I certainly wouldn't be surprised if there was match fixing Italiano style with chavski and man united being the culprits. Our league isn't special, we have some of the most bent referees most notably Howard Dweeb (England's best ref, ahaha) and Phil Dowd.

Why does the poll suggest the lib dems are quite popular in this thread? Everyone I know is either voting for either Conservative (mostly) or Labour... I don't know anyone who's voting for lib dems so I don't know why lib dems are starting to come out with brash statements with what they're going to do when they won't even get the majority vote. I guess it's their way to drum up some support because they know they've got lack of it anyway. Cameron FTW.

Fair play Glaston and I agree with your post. spurs were looking tired towards the end and like you said lack the cutting edge I thought which is quite surprising because Spurs look good normally going foward. Because a lot of your players seemed tired I think one or two looked like they'd given up, epsecially Bassong who was making all sorts of mistakes towards the end. Crouch is a bit of moaner considering he's a giant but if Villa were disallowed a goal like Crouch's today I'd be pretty pissed off too but overall Portsmouth played great and deserved to go through. I'm quite surprised by spurs' efforts today I must admit, didn't seem up for it at all.

Excellent. Losing to Chelsea yesterday was shit but losing 2-0 to PORTSMOUTH in the semi-final must send the deluded spudites into the state of depression. Fair play to Pompey, they played really well today... much better than I expected. I hope they can do the same to chavski in the final.

hehe... I see sticking 10 men behind the ball and defending for most of the game whilst desperately hoping they'll get a goal from somwhere didn't work very well today. small heath have stretched themselves to the maximum this season without any really quality in the team just relying on hard work from everyone and just keeping it tight in defence. It's actually quite remarkable how long their gameplan has lasted this season but I feel they'll realise that style of football only goes so far.

I seriously mean this, I wouldn't swap 10 Uefa Cups for a European Cup (just like I wouldn't swap 10 Confederations Cups for 1 World Cup). Winning the European Cup is the ultimate acheivment in club football where you're playing against the best teams and champions all over Europe and winning the cup means you've overcome all the best teams in the world. Whereas the UEFA Cup is just a competition for the teams who aren't good enough to play at the highest level in European football that's why there is a competition just for the 2nd tier teams of Europe so they don't feel left out. fact is, glaston can obscure his little deluded dream of spurs being more succesful than Villa, but the facts show we are the 4th most succesful club in England, we've won more major honours than spurs, finished above spurs in the league more times and in general just better than spurs. If spurs weren't from London they'd just be another Bolton.

Fantastic response to the last few poor results. Today really was a 'must win', we stepped up and delivered which I'm really pleased about. It's annoying to think that we should really be in 4th anyway with those dropped points against wolves and Sunderland but I'm not too sure how we'd cope with all that pressure. Hopefully this win means we start to gain some form and momentum going into the remaining games and that our little blip won't return.

And plus when did Bale break his own curse of winning a game for spurs when he started? I can't remember but I'm sure it was in the year 2010.

I only drink at weekends but earlier on when I was out at a club I was having shots of Russian Standard Vodka. Really good stuff, you know it's quality vodka as soon as you smell it.

It's quite refreshing that as Villa fans we still compliment spurs and compromise on how good both Villa and spurs players are despite hating spurs, but yet apparently spurs don't hate us but yet they're deluded and stubborn as a mule when it comes to comparing Villa and spurs players and even when the evidence shows that certain Villa players are better than spurs players, they still refuse to accept.
