All I ask is that claret and blue remains in the mind tonight as the colours of strength, and endeavour. We may win, or lose. I sadly think the latter is more likely. But the thing I want this match to do for us is to leave a mark on the perception of the British football world - Aston Villa have truly returned. If we have a trophy to remind everyone of that for eternity, so much the better. But either way, history will remember this day as the moment that Aston Villa woke up, and started competed on a genuine level again. And for that I'll be thankful. Do us proud lads.
