saw it yesterday...same conclusion. The first half is good, tense, interesting, etc. the second was just a bit stupid. Plus, it left me with way more questions than answers - so much so I was trying to work them out rather than just enjoying the film. That said, I will buy the directors cut as I agree that it seemed that loads had to be cut.

I like the old fairytales and things so anything about trolls is always gonna be fine by me!

I watched 'The Others' last night and was pretty impressed. I'm not good with ghost films - I'm always curious, but kind of a pussy - but the twist in this one actually made it not that scary in the end. That sounds like a criticism, but for me it was perfect! Also watched Troll Hunter - which was ace - but had to watch it with the English voice over as I had a horrible hangver. Will definately go for the subtitles next time!

I'm too lazy to read that...could someone please tell me what to think. Do I need to stockpile books/dvds/etc in my garage?

I live in Buckinghamshire...definately don't want this. I realise this is sentimental, but some of the countryside it's going to wreck is really beautiful. The benefits just don't add up for me. The main argument that we are being fed down here is that it will cut air traffic between London and Scotland, but the numbers are extremely debatable. Plus, who wants to go to Scotland? Yuk.

Played it for a few weeks, but getting frustrated as it appears to try to be as overly complex as FIFA. I'm not a sophisticated gamer, I can only use two buttons at a time! Oh well, break out the mega drive and a bit of sensible soccer! (probably has more up-to-date club line-ups)

Does anyone still play this? Firstly, I fully appreciate all of the problems that come with PES. Team names, lazy editing and all the rest. However, I still buy it. I was brought up on arcade games and sensible soccer. I love games that I can just pick up and play, so PES still appeals to me. I've played the latest FIFA games and they are very impressive, but I find to become good I have to spend some considerable time learning all the (seemingly) very technical controls. So, any secret PES fans still out there?

I can't see him leaving. He so wanted to get to Villa after leaving Newcastle, he's our main man, he's a good, honest lad...so I jst dont see him going. Man city cant offer him anything we cant and he may struggle for a place. At Chelsea he may not get a place. Man u would be the only real possibility, but they claim they're not buying. Honestly, i just dont see him leaving, despite what sky want us to believe.
