Nigeria's story is kind of insane, barely got any help from their governing body and a bunch of broken promises. They've done so well to get here. Ghost Posted August 7, 2023 Share Posted August 7, 2023 (edited) On a general note, this world cup has been a massive success for organisers in terms of crowd numbers and entertainment. There might have been some concerns about staging it in a traditionally "non-football" country but many of the games have been sold out with brilliant atmospheres, even for non-host country matches. They've done really well to attract all the various migrant communities we have here and get them through the gates.
