kidlewis
Hamer is quality for Coventry, seen a few of their games. He’d be useful in PL as a squad player for sure. I don’t think he will be in the championship for long

Think we did have a strong interest in him in jan 22, but never made a firm move

Not at all, he has that soft calm Geordie accent. He’d sit there , poker faced, wearing one of those colourful shell suit training outfits while giving that line at a prezza before a big cup game or something. StewieGriffin
Dad's half of the family all hail from Carlisle and he adopted Villa when he moved down here, so this could be quite the day...
Dodgyknees
The season Smith kept us up V West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth also played each other - but with Bournemouth fighting for survival.
foreveryoung
I'll be pissed with Brighton if they win this, I doubt we would go for broke with nothing to play for, also knowingly it's might be Spurs if not them.
Django_Zooms
Stockport v Carlisle should have been played in Manchester or Liverpool. Wembley is almost empty & those fans + players + family + media have travelled hundreds of miles - a sustainability disaster. No wonder Just Stop Oil target sporting events.

Guess that's why they tried to stop the snooker yeah? They gained no fans at the Rugby yesterday, personally think targeting sporting events is not the way forward. Django_Zooms
Stockport easily the better team in the first half. Few scoring chances, but one up from a deflection. Similar to yesterday's Coventry v Luton.

I joked about it the other day but it makes some sense. The joke was that the UK government should take the City Of Manchester Stadium back if City are proven to have cheated. Obviously won’t happen, but I wonder if there’s a case for a second national stadium up north?
Django_Zooms
The quality and decision making in this League 2 Play-off Final is at least three levels worse than the Premier League. As it should be...

Django_Zooms
Viewers on TV: do we want a Carlisle equaliser, extra time & penalties, finishing 10 minutes before Villa kick off? Or a win in normal time, then interviews & trophy presentation, finishing 45 minutes before Villa, so that we can watch the build-up & manager interviews?
