After 90 odd minutes, the scores remain the same. Hamburg fans celebrate their win at full time: Unbeknownst to them, Heidenheim were awarded a 93rd minute penalty in their game, which they scored to make it 2-2. Even more remarkably, they then scored a 99th minute winner to win 3-2 and get promoted. Darmstadt lost 4-0 away at Furth, so Heidenheim went from finishing 3rd after 92 minutes, to being champions... ...and, ultimately, Hamburg had a pitch invasion for finishing 3rd Apparently basically the same thing happened the day before in the third tier. Wiesbaden won their tie and were heading for the promotion playoffs against one of the bottom teams from the 2nd tier, except Osnabruck scored in 90+4' and 90+6' to snatch 3rd on goal difference (by one goal!).
