Well i mean if we are gonna go down that road, fergie signed Forlan, Taibi, Poborsky. I rate Rodgers. Think he’s demonstrably better than Gerrard. I think it would give a good vibe to the club that he is a Brummie as well, would give a little bit of the connection with the fans that we had under DS (though I dont think Potter was a Villa fan growing up mind).
